I used mercury thermometer and digital oral thermometer both say 98.7 this braun is saying 101. I have a headache but don't feel feverish.
Am feeling ropey, so thought it wise to measure my temperature. It said 37.5 on two goes and on a third said 38.5. I don't know if I'm ill or not!.

How to changed the batteries???
Hi! Thank you for contacting us. To open the battery compartment of the ThermoScan 3 (IRT3030), you must insert a narrow pointed object such as a ball point pen or paperclip into the small hole above the battery door, and while pressing into the hole, slowly slide the battery door back with the other hand. To close, align the tabs of battery door along the side of the battery into the battery compartment and slowly slide back into position until the door clicks into its locked position.

I just bought this crap and it randomly changed from C to F. How can it be changed back! Spend to much on it and it’s crap!

The thing is utter garbage. Measurements are all over the place. I wish I had never bought that POS.

Literally the worst thermometer ever! i spent so much on this and it does not give an accurate read. My infant has a fever and it keeps showing normal! went to the hospital and her fever is high!! not the first time this happened, ever since i got it!! sooooo upset. dont recommend this to anyone!

This is the worst thermoscan ever! It constantly measures the same temperature 36.7 while I have a fever of 38.8 degrees (measured with another thermoscan).

Basically, it's the WORST thermometer out there, and it's so pricey, to add insult to the injury. It keeps repeating the same temperature. measurement. I wasted 35 precious pounds on this POS!
