Yea Shanks imo is favored in this matchup he didn’t prioritize his swing and let you draw a card with Laf, he also should still be playing his Ben Beckmann and Rayleighs and Yassops even if they have no ability cause you just need a board against BB and force them to expend cards to get rid of them so the BB player doesn’t just die. I also think Sanji 2k isn’t meant for that deck I think I like the Makino’s more cause they give out Uta’s the ability to swing as well as they can swing into Doc Q’s which is super funny.
Ofc 2k sanji is meant for that deck its a 2k and if you have roger in hand you can drop sanji 1 turn earlier and draw your last life to enable roger for the lethal swings. Edit: i see so many videos where shanks player let lafitte (or any 1 cost searcher that can search every turn) survive multiple turns like bro this is 101 in op you NEVER let a card stick that gives the opponent free card advantage.
@@Shirohige92 I get what you mean but there’s VERY few later turns where Sanji can be dropped when we have 5 cost Yassop, 7 cost Beckmann, 8 cost Dragon & Rayleigh and 10 cost shanks to say we play it a turn early and it miraculously survives and we are in a perfect scenario. Where we’re at 1 and it does this play. Sanji is not a terrible include but DEF not needed in the deck it’s strictly mid at best.
@@fabioferrieri9167 yea this matchup is not 60 / 40 BB idk what games you’re watching but BB struggles against shanks. An they do have to know what to pitch properly. Cause BB isn’t guaranteed its searchers at all times so know what to pitch at givin times is super important it will be what separates meh players to GOOD BB players everyday till Sunday. But the reason BB struggles into Shanks is because it NEEDS to see as frequent 10 drops as Shanks when Shanks runs 5 that have rush and maybe 1-2 that don’t that’s 6-7 10 drop 12ks BB has to compete with and it needs to properly fill its trash to make sure they play burgesses that won’t just die. So yea BB is a lot harder than this Red deck that gets a FREE 1k counter every turn with a bunch of rushing big bodies… so No it’s not 60 / 40 BB ITS 55/45 Shanks.
Can't wait to play Blackbeard and when the game is almost over, I'm going for game with Burgess, and I say "I will trash a card for leader ability, and then I'll trash a card for leader ability, then use leader ability to trash a card disabling on plays, use leader ability, then I will use leader ability to trash my last card" to buff Burgess for game
@12:10 when going for game with burgess you can leader effect all your cards into the trash. It’s not a once per turn
Yes I realized that after the fact LOL 🥲
thats a pretty cool fact, didnt know that
You can pitch your entire hand using leader ability with teach to juice up your burgesses
Nice match. Is this a championship of a LGS?
hi. im new to tcg and one piece is my first. my english not really good, so can u explain what fo u mean by "swing"?😅 im sorry
When Blackbeard swing at Shanks it just means that Blackbeard attacks Shanks. In English throwing a punch can be called “swinging” at someone
@ericweiss560 ahhhh thank you very much🙏🏻🙏🏻now i get it
I'm pretty sure he is referring to the term used when you switch sex partners between couples, man.
Where do you guys go to print out eng copies of your proxies?
Egmanevents
Burgess are such a PITA if they're not dealt with early.

Its not if you know how to play teach against Shanks and know how to use your resources it's a 60/40 for Blackbeard
