I love velcro rollers for fringes. I use to do a similar routine where I wet my bangs, rolled them in a plain roller while I went through the rest of my morning routine. By the time I'm ready to head out the door, my fringe is dry and I get the same result as you did without using heat.
This is exactly what I'm doing with my bangs right now. I'm in the process of growing them out & I've begun parting them down the middle & this works so well! I usually use hairspray alone but I'm gonna look into picking up a wax of some kind soon! Thanks for that tip. :)
That roller trick is great! I was nervous it was going to look crazy but looks awesome. You look lovely with the full on front fringe and the middle parted ones. Thanks for the tips! I need to find a roller like that! x
oh my god i love your hair! I just decided a month ago that I would get rid of my fringe, but i'm having a really hard time growing them out. When I had a fringe, i was having a really hard time getting a small roller to catch on. This video totally makes me want to get them back.
Spisepinner I'll see if I can pull something together. It's really a bit of trial and error for me too, I used to have bangs a lot and went through a phase of trimming them myself. Hopefully, I've still got it!
I just got fringe bangs and I was really worried I wasn't gonna be able to style them, and it was just gonna look weird. But I really love this and think this was the most helpful tutorial on fringe bangs I've seen. Thank YOU! I also subscribed to your channel, you are amazing!
cheche benny I'm just learning to use my camera for filming (instead of the camcorder I'm using right now which doesn't have such good colour rendering) so I'll be slowly getting into that with a few test videos here and there. Any particular topic/looks you're interested in?
Very helpful video! I saw this and I quickly ran to the store and bought the Instyler:) I just LOVE your hair color! May I ask what color is it? I am getting my hair done next week and want to tell the salon to color my hair just like yours!
Qianqian Li I think I might be too late to answer your question but my hair was coloured with the Clairol Perfect10 in 6A (Light Ash Brown). Of course over my dark hair, it's not exactly what I would called Light Ash Brown but more of a darker variation.
Hey darling! Could you pretty please do a tutorial on how you did the rest of your hair with the Instyler? I know you have another tutorial with it in another video but the hair looks different. Thanks so much! Your hair looks terrific here.
MrsBlack Pinkie It's nearly the identical method as I used here in this tutorial (ruclips.net/video/1Bq9H0q2Sq4/видео.html), I think the only difference you're seeing is that my hair cut is different so the end result turns out slightly different as well.
***** I have one up from the Instyler review/demo. It's nearly exactly the same method (INSTYLER | Review & Tutorial / 10min perfect loose waves). The only difference is that I hold it at a lower angle and grab larger random sections of hair instead of sectioning everything smoothly ahead of time. So it turns out a little looser :)
lidyaFACE I got it from a Japanese supermarket/shop in LA when I visited years ago. You may want to try eBay and see if any Asian sellers carries something similar!
Thanks for the tips and lovely tutorial! I wish I knew of this when I had the full fringe in 3rd grade. To be honest, the full fringe was horrible desicion for me. I definitely didn't rock it, haha! Your hair looks gorgeous, I love the textured tossled wave and the swept bangs. (:
PBunnieP Haha! I'm sure they do. All of my friends (mostly asian) had full fringes as a kid. My mom even cut my hair into this terrifying bob. It was absolutely embarassing, but at least I have something to look back at and laugh about. (:
Viola3 Curling irons help. On dry hair, after you've smoothed out the roots, curl your fringe under with a large barrel iron (1.5-1.75inch) and then immediately roll it onto your velcro roller and let it cool. That tends to help thicker hair stay in place. Just be careful not to burn your forehead, that's not fun :)
6 years ago and this style is still beautiful and popular! Love it

***** Glad this helped Christy!
I just got bangs and I was slightly worried about styling them coz I've never been good with hair but your way is so simple!! Thank you!! ❤️🙏
when I style them to the side I look like a middle aged man who lives in his ex wife’s new boyfriend’s basement
Me too lol best comment
I relate to this comment too much
woooow, i love when you take out the roll and the fringe is all smooth and shiny
It's like a cartoon fringe - lol!

I love your hair! I want those type of layers, but no matter what, my stylist never seems to get it right.
go to an asian place
Omg same! My hair is like rlly straight tho so that’s probably why I can’t get them like that ...

Dorothy Ko That in-between stage is so awkward... if i'm just in the house, I clip them up but this is what i do when I need to go out :P
this is exactly the video i needed ;___;
LadyCiena Bangs are cute but can be such a pain, I hope this helped you sort yours out!
Oh my god... you saved my hairrrr😭😭😭 it was so easy and i never thought about it ughhh
the problem with my hair is: it grows like 2 cm in 3 months and at the moment when I put my bangs in my face I usally can't see at all
Ooooh I think this is my new hair inspiration! I have been scared of bangs for ages but yours are so nice!
My bangs really needed this video! Thank you! Time to go shopping xx
Wow, this is the first video that I've seen with amazing tips. Thank you for this!!
You look great with full down bangs!
you're so eloquent and well spoken. i'm certainly going to invest in velcro rollers. :)
thanks for the great tips! would love to see your DIY fringe though, since I do that myself too and I'm not completely satisfied with it :)
Spisepinner I'll see if I can pull something together. It's really a bit of trial and error for me too, I used to have bangs a lot and went through a phase of trimming them myself. Hopefully, I've still got it!
This video was so helpful, I'm growing out my thick full fringe right now, do you have any other tips for growing them out?:)x

your so pretty !!
Wow!!! Best video I have seen! You're so beautiful. Thank you for this vid x ❤️😍😍
Hi. What size of roller did you use
I'm afraid I don't remember exactly as this video was filmed a very long time ago. I'm guessing maybe 1" - 1.25"
im late for school and i dont know how to hide my fringe and i actually want to kms
If anyone lives near a Uwajimaya store, they sell the pomade she was talking about or any other Japanese grocery store.
This is really helpful! Thank you!
you just saved my life
Great video and you speak very good English
Aw she's so cute
You ROCK! Thank you for this!
Nikki Burton No problem Nikki, happy hair day ;-)
Your bangs looked pretty rad before you even did all that! What hair products do you use? Looks so shiny and such awesome condition
Thanks Elizabeth! This video was filmed years ago however and I'm afraid I have no clue what I used then.
Where did you buy your roller? It's hard to find rollers with that diameter and length :(
lidyaFACE I got it from a Japanese supermarket/shop in LA when I visited years ago. You may want to try eBay and see if any Asian sellers carries something similar!
so my bangs are pretty long but i just dont know how to make a good side part can you make a video on that plz
I don't currently have bangs anymore so I'm afraid I won't be of much help here.
Pretty!

AngelynnKitty I think Mommies think it's super cute to give their kids a full fringe...I had one too! LOL
PBunnieP Haha! I'm sure they do. All of my friends (mostly asian) had full fringes as a kid. My mom even cut my hair into this terrifying bob. It was absolutely embarassing, but at least I have something to look back at and laugh about. (:
you look cuter (for me) with bangs
it is hard to find a long velcro roller that long. :(
Try Amazon or some of the Asian shops, they are pretty popular there.
Hello. I have a round face & short forehead. Do you have any styling tips for thick fringe?
Viola3 Curling irons help. Bangs look good on you
I look like Dora
You have beautiful hair and a pretty face.
You're strikingly beautiful ❤
Why my bangs can’t look cute as her
