YEAH MAN!!! HUGE CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU GUYS!!! Broke the mph record 3 TIMES ( if I'm not mistaken ) with the first 2 going to your Mom! .........and then your Dad breaks BOTH the mph AND the ET record .......FANTASTIC JOB GUYS & GALS!!! You have an amazing family and I'm proud of all of you!!!
So cool to see these cars do this on a wide oval and red line tire! If I had money I think this is the class that I’d like to pursue the most, just cause of the era of cars.
Congratulations to Terry and the whole Pennington family. Thank you for posting all the great content. Y’all are a great family and crew. Glad you parked the Camaro before it became an incident. Your mom had a mph record for a bit. Tell her it still counts . I had a lap record at night Mx track in 97 , until the next race where the minis broke it 🤣. God bless and take care 🙏🇺🇸
Congratulations to the entire Pennington family! Jordan you looked so different at the beginning of the video without a hat and with most of your beard shaven. And I’m glad you parked the Camaro. That looked really scary in the shutdown. 😬😱
SOOOOOO HAPPY TO SEE THE CAMARO OUT!!!!!🤘 LOVE SEING THAT THING RACE, PLEASEEEEE FOR THR LOVE OF GOD PUT THE FLOOR SHIFTER IN IT. I WANNA SEE THE GLORY OF A CENTER CONSOLE AND ENOUGH PLAYING WITH THE COLUM SHIFT. Love you guys man keep it up🤘🫶🏼
Whoo HOoo!!! At first I thought you guys went to a Powerglide with the Camaro! Cool weather rules! Congrats on the 9.01/151 so close.... something to dream on for a few months.
Nice to see the Camaro running F.A.S.T. again..... Wow, it sure got scary. Hopefully you get the brakes figured out and chop that 9.30 down even lower. Is the extra weight of the iron block part of the issue? 13:02 That Duster is cooking for a small block. I've been following it on the Mopar boards for a while. 22:15 Congrats to Ed! Momma and papa Pennington did well. 8s are certainly in your future.
If you are running a the stock 509 mastercylinder, with rear drums do you have the hold off valve under the master cylinder and the subframe pressure valve? sounds like the pressure to the rear brakes or fluid volume to the rear brakes is to high.
I'd like to see a best 2 out of 3 race with your black car against a Lucid Air Saphire model or perhaps a Tesla Plaid! To me that would be a great video here on your channel. Probably the Plaid as a 9.15 is a strong ET for that car at just about 150MPH! What does the crowd in here think?
Hey Jordan! Awesome Job! What rear springs you running in the Camaro? I can't believe how straight and level it looks launching with all that power. Thx!
somehow the right lane has always been better lane, yeah they request? No ET Board shown on friday nights , Due to they race Heads up the next day. Congratulations for the run with Camaro and the records reset, hehe I am taking pictures (@ 14:03)with my Coat Hood up on bleachers with t shirt hanging out lo i was freezing up there. I posted Pictures on Face B. F.A.S.T. pages
Just a thought on the brakes: with the iron block, is the nose diving quicker and unloading the rear brakes, causing them to lock up quick? Can you plumb in an adjustable proportioning valve to the rear to dial in the proper pressure?
We were an actually talking about this exact thing in the way home. I believe you’re right. I do have a proportioning valve on it with as much front brake as possible. I need less pressure to the rear. I don’t have the issue with the aluminum block, or with drag radials. Just on the Firestone wide ovals.
@@HorsepowerDepot An adjustable proportioning valve plumbed into the rear would allow you to dial down the rear pressure just a bit to prevent the rears from grabbing. You do a great job prepping your wide ovals, but I imagine the drag radials still grip better, thus less problem. Could potentially cure the problem by adjusting shock settings to prevent the front from diving or the rear from rising … but that would probably mess with your ETs too, and you don’t want that. Congrats on your dad’s 9.01. That’s seriously impress!
Congrats.. love the cars & videos are great

Thank you! I’m super grateful for the life I have! Couldn’t ask for a better family or better friends!
Your Dad is going to be in the 8's before you.😂
Congratulations for your accomplishments this year.

Looking forward to the video on converting the Camaro from COPO to SS396 trim and a console shifter 😎

Congratulations!
The excitement after the Camaro 9.38 run was incredible. You certainly proved it isn’t the aluminum block making the GM cars fast.
What size engine in camaro these days?
double up the detent spring in the trans, i also have done some reverse pattern full manual column shenanigans
Old school power rules.
Awesome night
Big congrats to team P ❗❗
Thanks!
Thats fast,
fantastic
Great..Vid..👍🏼..!! Save that’69..!! The Family..🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏻
very cool
Love how these stunning cars run faster than the LaFerrari
amazing!
Awsome
That in car video at the finish line with the camaro was very sketchy, good call parking it.
I said the same thing. That is a handful.
A lot of steering for going in a straight line !

I’d be down for that!
Is the rear suspension changed from stock on the black vette?
That pass look scary on top end steering wheel was all over the place! Congratulations on the pass , thanks for explaining why you were all over ,
Hey Jordan! Awesome Job! What rear springs you running in the Camaro? I can't believe how straight and level it looks launching with all that power. Thx!
Thanks! So for this event I ran Calvert split monos, I’ve also run landrum multi leafs. The anti roll bar really keeps it level when launching.
Man I live in Cecil I'd love to see you guys there
Congrats on the race.. Which Santhuff shocks do you run on the Camaro? I am working on a 1972 Nova.
Their aluminum body double adjustable, 5 inch stroke.

Wow......
The Camaro is back, Thank You Jesus.. I thought i was going to have to unsubscribe.😮 Not Really. Mom did a heck of a pedel jod on that first pass.

What vacuum pump do you use in the 67?
Star Machine electric vacuum pump.
That thing needs an alignment set up for drag racing.
The Camaro? It does have an alignment for drag racing. It’s hard to keep straight when the rear wheels are locking up when you hit the brakes!
Thats camaro all motor? Whats it make for power? Trans Th400? Rear Gearing?
All motor, factory intake, factory 850 carb, factory exhaust manifolds, full 2 1/2 exhaust. Th400 with a 2.10 1st gear. 4:10s.
Time for a Powerglide?
What size engine is in the camaro these days?
560
I wish my mom went a 9.49. She takes that long to get me a spoon for my meatless soup.
🤣
Your mother would have put it in the 8s with the 100 pound weight savings
Probably true.
💥💥👍👍💥💥
good call to park the camaro it was out of control in the shut down race another day.🤥
