That is one gorgeous system you have there. I love that table and was about to call a local dealer after looking at his website with that table on it, but I can't go back to a belt driven table. I do own a Vpi Classic 1, a Technics sl-1200gr, and the Denon Dp3000ne. I do have the perfect phono preamp for that table, an Audio Research Reference preamp. It looks like you have a Hana ML, which I have on my Technics and a Denon 103 on the Denon Dp3000ne. I love vinyl and analog as a whole. Enjoy that beautiful system.
Thank you. This is true hifi art piece.….placing record and queuing.. looking while playing… ( big presence in room) …..10pm listening session with jazz music… all leading to fantastic experience. I see Look of this gt5000 impacts the way i perceives sound quality of this turntable.
Sounds very nice, balanced sound and great vocals. I’ve got a Yamaha PX-2 linear tracking direct drive turntable and a C-2 preamp with 3 phono stages I’m letting go.Just haven’t used it for a while. It needs to move on. Hate to see it go, but whoever buys it will enjoy it for many years, I’m sure.
Hana ML is a pretty smart investment these days. I love this cartridge. It's almost like the tops, but at a price that allows to have it new all the time -)
I have an as3200 and cds1000 feeding a LAIV Harmony DAC for CD. Been interested in a m5000 amp for a while. What performance gain did you get going to the 5000 amp and preamp?
Thanks .yhaa this is the craziest hobby…eventually .. we get used to it 😊. I started this hobby in 2017 with pair of Elac speakers . Off course I used to buy lots of cassettes and had stereo deck from childhood. I build my own speakers when was studying 7th grade. Listening music habit inherited from my parents. Basically i am ok go little beyond as budget permits ..
Hi My set is pretty near to your set TT is a Yamaha PF 1000 , also with double platter in cannon bronze, the arm is a little Better than these, with carbon fiber and grafite, double, and dynamic balanced , the cart is a Yamaha MC 1s , top , and the mc 705 The pre a Yamaha C2 , a critic winner, and the amps Yamaha M2 x 2. Bi wired to JBL L7 towers. The L7 needs tons of watts!!! Cheers from Buenos Aires Argentina 🤙
and I am new to vinyl. First time in my life I did cartridge mount and tuning 😊 . Any way I love sound this turntable with hana ml. I guess without this turntable my system would be incomplete .. happy listening..
Wow you have gone all in on Yamaha! Beautiful gear ❤

Never owned much Yamaha, but their TOTL components sound and look fantastic. Hilarious that GT stands for 'Gigantic and Tremendous'. Seems to fit. 😁
Thanks
Felicitaciones por tu equipo !!!
Thanks
Nice system. The turntable looks like a work of art.
In person, This thing looks ever better.
Had it mounted a tang arm as another Yamaha TT mounted it would have been even nicer.
What a sweet rig, and Ella was in fine form on that album.
Thanks
Currently rocking a A-S1200. It’s an amazing integrated. Superb transparency and top-tier build(like a freaking tank).
Yamaha 👍
I always loved the look of that table!!
And your system sounds awesome, enjoy!

@kvrhifi Hi, the arm cartridge sound like a very good match, but I was interested what the plinth is made of?
Wow! Very nice.
Thanks
I swing between brand synergy and mix & matching components every decade or so, but this looks and sounds very sweet
congrats on a dream setup
Thank you
Such smooth, pure sound for being the inner grooves!

More power.. and distinct separation between instruments. But not sure if use 3200 as pre amp. 5000 pre/amp Sound profile is very different from 3200.
@@kvrhifi Interesting. How is the sound profile different? I find the as3200 to be dynamic and rich. The bass is particularly dynamic and tuneful.
You still need a vintage yamaha mc1x cartridge. It was the top model at the time.
Yeah
I have a mc1s
The same for regular head Shell
Mc1x is for p mount
My TT is the top pf 1000
Cheers from Buenos Aires Argentina 🤙
Ok thanks for sharing. Seems It’s not in production anymore
Did u try the balanced connection…any improvement?
Right out of the box , only used balanced connection . Did not try RCA.
Hmmm.. no offset angle for the cartridge.. Looks weird. This is the only turntable I am aware of that has a straight tonearm with no offset..
Very nice. Not the price!!!

FROM WHAT YEAR IS THIS YAMAHA ?
2023-10
@@kvrhifi appreciate !
i still have afraid it is one rare old stuff...
…..but the TT is belt driven!
It’s not like Yamaha designers can’t do it .. they don’t like direct drive how it interacts with SQ
very strange arm geometry !!! straight arm is for scratch djing !!! this is the only armi know for hifi straight ....
