Revelation is one of my favorite items in the game. To answer question: Best Eden start was Death Certificate ofc, I was practicing speedruns and picked up Mom’s Knife. Honorable mentions are Sacred Heart, R key, Spirit Sword.
My best eden start was probably that one run where i got rock bottom as starting item. I died to a spike in the 2 room. Thats why i deal with self hate problems.
This reminds me of a run I did as The Lost not too long ago where I had Tech 1, Ipecac, Dead Cat, and Rubber Cement and tried to fight Hush, I lost all my lives trying to fight him cause the laser from Tech 1 kept hitting the wall at the other end of the room, bounced back and then exploded when it hit the wall I was close to dodge Hush's projectiles, at least it made me learn to never take Ipecac when you have items that reflect your shots back at you
Actually had an amazing Eden run yesterday where I started with Diplopia and Knockout Drops and got a devil deal first floor with Brimstone Pentagram and needless to say it was smooth sailing from there. Great video
I was playing Eden with my brother and I started heeellla small, and got 2 size downs, including caffine pill. My brother did absolutely nothing. I beat moms heart with Eye of the Occult, Rubber cement, and Safety pin ( Last 3 items I picked up) . I’m new to the game
people, please tell me how to open a broken modem. Do I just need to complete the runs by killing the last boss of the race, or can I just start the runs and die on the first floor (if I did something like that, Something does not work)?
Well.. It does work WITH brimstone.. So tech speaking.. It has synergies of a sort.. Just not the kind you would normally expect for items that do.. Think the best Eden start I have had so far has been Dr.Fetus. I have also had some runs with my starting item being Ipecac but I have lost some of those from blind bad luck as well as.. Well.. Mistakes being made.. ( One of said blind bad luck cases.. Being picking up a blind item that turned out to be My Reflection... That run lasted longer than I thought it would but I still died about half way through the game.. ) ... There is a reason why I try my best to avoid picking up the "My Reflection" item... ( Also why I stopped picking up the blind items. )
Fun fact: you can cancel the targeting of Marked and Eye of Occult by tapping your drop button, which mya have helped by stopping revelations from backstabbing you (unless your regular shots were the main culprit I genuinely couldn't tell lol)

Last night I did a tainted laz run because I haven't played the character since he got buffed and got a really early birthright, his birthright is really cool and definitely carried me in the run
my best eden start as of now was probably white pony. i forgot what my passive was, but i managed to find 4.5 volt and the white pony just decimated every boss. i went all the way to mega satan with the pony and won. i forgot if i went to delirium or not, but it was still really fun. edit: typo lol
My best Eden run and one of my only Eden runs were when I started off with r key. I forgot the other item but I swapped out my r key for anarchist cookbook to break a marked rock and when I went back to pick up the r key it was gone.
My best eden run was actually one of my very first runs with the character: I wanted to beat greed mode with a random character (since it was around the time i started to play tboi, so a couple of months before repenteance) So i picked Eden and got brimstone
Just yesterday I got an Eden run where I started with red key. And on the same floor I found the ultra secret room and Sacred Heart was in it. I went on to unlock T Eden.
my best eden run was pretty recent. it was brimstone start and the first item room i got ipecac and i just had to take it lmao. it was such a nerve wracking run. i only got tainted eden tho. i wasn't able to defeat the beast unfortunately.

I spawned in with brittle bones next to a sacrifice room and a shop. I got birthright from the shop, then I got another brittle bones and then got sacred heart trisagion plus the seven soul hearts payout
2:59 i had an eden start where i started with damocles and C-Section on the first floor sadly it was tainted eden and i eventually got hit and couldnt manage to get a life item and died cause of damocles
got brimstone and guppy's head on eden as starting items.... managed to get guppy transformation a few floors later.... and died on hush because i was stuck with 3.08 damage the whole game. absolutely no damage up items or literally any good items at all

Didn't play Eden a whole lot, falls for me in the same tier such as Samson or Lazarus. My best start had to have been scapular, because it gave me godhead. Scapular is top 10 imo, because you can cheat on sacrifice rooms.
It wasn't as eden but as the forgotten First treasure room had ipecac And the second floor treasure room had quad shot I died because of the really really slow fire rate
