lebron for his career was not always the best player every year. he had a lot of years where he was in the top 5. when he first started playing in 2004 until 2011. I believe Kobe, Duncan, probably Wade and Dirk for a year during that span were the best players. Lebron became the best player in 2012 to 2015. I think Curry was the best player in 2016 even though he lost to Lebron in the Finals. 2017 to 2020 had no clear best player because it was a toss up between multiple players like Lebron, Harden, Durant, Curry and Giannis. 2021 Giannis 2022 to 2025 Jokic
