hopefully mcc gets custom browser support for mods, unless you have a large community to access fast its almost impossible to play mods on a whim with a full party
Yeah that’s pretty much why I gave up. I used to try and set up times for people to show up but it became such a hassle
Blows my mind how split the Halo community is. MCC, Infinite, Elderito, and Halo 2 cart. Plus the rest that are on different games now. Wild.

i also love mods that overhaul the entire sandbox, the ratchet and clank one is my favorite (despite never playing ratchet and clank before)

It might be a controversial decision but imo Microsoft should change focus on halo and push the franchise as a sandbox game like Gary’s mod with arena as just a game mode within it. A lot of the best content that’s come to halo since halo reach has all been community made mods, custom games and forge maps.

@@linusnottech No reason why traditional halo multiplayer couldn't be implemented even in a game where the primary focus is forge, sandbox and community content. It would just be a secondary focus

You don't even have to press refresh when trying to get into A lobby. Just keep mashing A, and eventually you will join In If someone leaves. Even If It says the lobby Is full. That's what I did. doesn't save much time. But better then nothing!

I like how it gives off that early Half Life 2 Deathmatch feeling. Where servers just have pure fun mods.

something I find funny with eldewrito is, at its core its classic halo 3 online yet through out the years every time ive played it players mod in sprint into almost every server.... which is funny to me considering this communities hate toward it
The servers trying to emulate h3 usually have sprint disabled but all the modded servers / custom game ones just let it rock normally

I really thought I'd love this, as i loved halo so much, but got annoyed it was making me download every single mod and wait 5-10 mins before i join a match

My only request for El Dewrito is simply to make Forge movement more like Reach and less "floaty" like Halo 3's.
honestly i missed halo 3's forge movement, hopefully it becomes an option of some sort so u can switch between them
Actually had an idea for a fps similar to this called Sand. The characters are made of sand and all the bullets are made of water. When you shoot another person you see the water holes the bullets made. When you die you turn into a pile of sand. You can walk over a pile of sand to get more health. Wish I was a game designer but I’m not lol
This is a very good idea man, you should go for it! Try and get it made! U got a solid foundation of ideas there i think you could find somw devs to help you execute your idea 💯💯

They have no safeguards in place to stop malware from spreading through the auto mod downloader, it's fishy as hell and it's not even the same people as 0.6

The Victory/Loss music doesn't fit. It needs to be replaced with a more Halo feel.
It has refreshed every day since I got it and has required some sort of file manipulation to open up. It now doesn’t work for me as a result.
I am admittedly still newish to PC and am searching around for solutions, but something can’t be right lol.
Yeah I’ll be honest I’ve already had to delete and reinstall the whole game because it broke and then got flagged as a virus. Then the download got blocked as a virus.
Then recently my executable that I was clicking on to launch the game just disappeared lmao
@@ArrrashLive Same. I’ll have it pinned just in case, then it’ll either disappear entirely, or ask me to delete the program manually, thus requiring a reinstallation AND for me to side-step any threat protection without making my PC too vulnerable.

After booting this up and driving the worthog i can confirm 343 ruined driving physics. I was hyped for Infinite when it released, then i drove the hog and uninstalled instantly. 343 thinks vehicles are glued to the ground and have instant acceleration. Bunch of clowns 🤡
