Having been a Collector and Admirer of the late Yehudi Menuhin I've been Collecting his Records for over forty years both on Pre War 78rpm and LP Vinyl and I can truthfully say that there will never be anyone else that can beat him and out of the two Recording's off the Elgar Violin Concerto Performance wise I Prefer the(1 the 1932 Recording with Sir Edward Elgar Conducting with a 16 Year old Yehudi Menuhin and a 75 Year old Sir Edward Elgar Conducting and the London Symphony Orchestra]>(2 with a 50 year old Yehudi Menuhin and a 76 year old Sir Adrian Boult with the New Philharmonia Orchestra]and both Performances are as good as each other

Sure the date is right? The daughter was born 1939 and one of his sons, Gerard, was born 1948. So, this looks more like 1948, does it not?
