This is hands down my most favorite song on this album. My boyfriend is ready to strangle me for having it on repeat for weeks ever since the first time I heard it. And I believe this is my favorite album out of all of them. Great great stuff!!!!
My God this sounds like Bill Davis And Tulsa Blues band!!! Got this woman dancing! Bobby too..Hands down..bad to bone!! young men never r this good in blues :))
never before have the Blues made me smile as much as this album.. AMAZING is an understatement... probably THE best guitarist ever... and so humble and gentlemanly... pure genius..
One of the great things about JB is that he doesn't just do meaningless finger exercises like some other flash guitarists, but his solos are interesting and creative. By the way, I am against pirating such quality art, so I quite like your solution of saying his name over the track here and there. These postings provide a great way of listening to the tracks before buying the CD (Amazon doesn't even give snippets).
Was on a road trip around Hong Kong and Australia in '87 when this track was released from the brilliant Freight Train Heart album, Happy days, paradise lost
I just bought this record last summer. I have roughly 750 CD's and this one always seems to be in the player. I enjoy it a little differently each time, too. Cheers !
beautiful number! Barnes is in top form, and Joe really makes that Les Paul sing! got a little choked up from listening to it to be honest. brought back some memories. Thanks Joe and Jimmy!
IMO the best track from this album! Don't get me wrong, they're all excellent, but this one just kicks ass on so many levels - Jimmy Barnes' vocals, Joe's solos throughout the song, the rest of the band... Just brilliant. BTW, is it just me or are Jimmy's vocals clipping on the choruses?
Oh my goodness! !! Didn't have me at first16 Smoking Joe..Grown to love listening to you anytime. Got me now:))) Sounds like a old Davis song:)) with Tulsa blues band!:)))
For anybody that didnt know, this is one of Jimmy's songs, off the freight train heart album. Very interesting to hear a recently recorded version, and of course the (great) impact Joe has had in playing too
Conviction..power.. soul..connection
Too much ain't enough JB & JB to me!!!!!!!
If this song doesn't dig deep into your soul and give you the chills, you have to be dead!
Awestruck. And that is coming from a prude!

Too much of Joe's music ain't enough to satisfy me. Love this.
