If I'm honest I feel like the ending song should be the opening and the opening song should be the ending. Like even the visuals of the two from the show feel like they should be flipped. But I love both songs equally so it's good either way for me. Great cover btw
I would have made changes to the ending songs in the 2019 version of the series Fruits Basket. Firstly, I would have kept the ending song "Small Prayer" from the 2001 version of the series as it speaks to the anime and would have been a good choice for the first ending song of season one. However, I would have changed the singer's voice to match the voices of the ending songs in the 2019 version and also have the clips match the 2019 series. Secondly, I would have kept the original five ending songs from the 2019 version “ Lucky Ending", "One Step Closer", "Ad Meliora", "Eden", and "Haru Urara" as they also speak to the anime. I would have just made slight changes to season one to make room for "Small Prayer" but still keeping the ending songs from the 2019 version in the season they were originally placed. The third thing I would have done is to make all six ending songs in Japanese for the Japanese version of the anime, which would consist of the Japanese version with English subtitles. However, I would have made the ending songs in English for the dubbed version. This would elevate the anime even more and make more sense than having Japanese speaking ending songs for an English dubbed anime. I have watched a lot of anime and it always puzzled me why most of the ending songs (the English dub version) don't put English dubs on the theam songs, ending songs, and all the other songs that are in the series.
