Although one of my favorite parts of this entire show is when the narrator explains how no one knew if Knuckle was killed while in gods accomplice would the ability deactivate, or would their presence be lost forever.
I personally don't have HxH as my top anime as a whole, but the Chimera Ant arc is for sure my # 1 favorite arc. Narrator-sama is the MVP, it is just something special.
Ep 112 of HxH is one of the most unique and greatest episodes in anime, the slow paced time, the silence, the emotion, the narration, the choice of music, it's like an epic 20min scene from an oscar winning movie.
It was basically him saying I need your strength cause mine isnt suited for this. The fact that he said I'm counting on you spoke volumes about what he thinks of komugi and pitou felt that
You're the first reactor to correctly guess why Pitou was crying. When Pitou was rocketing towards the room the king was in, the Narrator stated that the King's emotion, through the aura he was emitting, was so unmasked that it was plain to read what he was thinking/feeling. This meant that Pitou was feeling what the king was feeling and that feeling was sadness, because his friend Komugi could be dead or on the verge of dying and he wasn't able to protect her. For Pitou, this emotion the king was feeling manifested into tears and was sort of unexplained because this is the first time they had to deal with this new emotion. Also Pitou was specifically tasked to watch over Komugi but she failed him in that regard. Contrary to popular opinion, Pitou didn't cry because Meruem asked her a favor as he actually always asks them stuff here and there throughout the anime.
I mean, i think its really like a mix of these things, including what you pointed out. The reason why that is a popular opinion, cus before Meruem mostly more like issued *orders* (as to a "tools"), but except this time where its really feels like a personal *favor* (as to a "person"). All and all Meruem is like a literal God to Pitou and he acknowledged the reason of her existence and need in her, so yeah, i think putting this into words from Meruem part also is important for Pitou too.
22:43 funny you say that because I‘d kinda really love to see you make like a top 10 or top 5 anime list to see how similar our tastes actually are and what to recommend to you next ^^
Hunter X Hunter is 100% my favorite anime. Story is deep, its hilarious at times, dark af at times, scary at times, edge of your seat, random sucker punches, emotional. This and Naruto are the only two anime to legit make a nigga tear up.
Pitou wasn't ready for the Boomer Hand. In all seriousness though, your appreciation of the scenes and your attention to details of what HxH conveys in its story and characters has made this journey of yours incredibly compelling. I've always found HxH to be very good, but also very hit and miss personally, with a lot of lows but some very high highs. But your enjoyment of the series so far has made it so much easier to appreciate aspects of HxH that I may not have previously, it's great.
Theres a reason you couldn't tell what netero did lol. That was to hype up just how strong netero is. Funny thing is he did that casually. Like swatting at an annoying fly
pitou, more than any of the other guards, knows the changes going on with the king and knows that komugi is the source of that change. so when he asked her to heal her, he placed the safety and well-being of something the king values in her hands. she felt happy that meruem needed her, above all others, to heal her.
You know shit is about to get real when GrandPa Zoldyck breaks the 4th wall for the prelude to a Netero flashback! 😆 Also notice in episode 112 how as the narration is ongoing that the rain of arrows are NOT moving, to show how much thought and action is happening in such a short time! Pito was crying because THE KING put forth such a daunting task of healing Komoge showing he truly believes in her ability.
She's crying because by meurem asking her to heal komugi with such a desperate feeling coming from him, she can achieve the thing she was born to do in the greatest capacity she can. In that moment he gave her life meaning. As the royal guard with the most emotional maturity the satisfaction that must of given her and the understanding that comes with it must have been intense, made even more so by the fact that she is a newborn and she's forced to try and mature despite already having a lot of intelligence. The amount she must of understood about life, the pursuit of purpose, and wanting others hit her all at once as her high intelligence thought through her feelings and their implications.
The first episode is Gon and friends going through a portal hole and around some stairs while arrows fall from the sky. And the next one is them going up the stairs. Now I don’t mind a slow story but even the biggest diehard HxH fans would admit that that’s kind of ridiculous.
Not Random, Chairman said I'm going to get an old friend. Only old man beside him we have seen is Killua's Grandpa 😂 My second guess was Ging, because he passed at exam 12 so that can make sense.
I wonder how Killua knew what Dragon Dive look like even though he didn't know about Nen and couldn't see Nen before. Killua didn't go back home after learning Nen and he didn't meet his grandpa before this either, he's always with Gon. If Killua saw Dragon Dive before he learned Nen, then Kurapika should have seen the tattooed lady's Nen when she intentionally showed it.

Also god tier reaction, makin me feel feels I havent felt watching some of these earlier episodes in the past 👌🏼
Episode 111 will always be the hypest episode ever
22:43 funny you say that because I‘d kinda really love to see you make like a top 10 or top 5 anime list to see how similar our tastes actually are and what to recommend to you next ^^
Hunter X Hunter is 100% my favorite anime. Story is deep, its hilarious at times, dark af at times, scary at times, edge of your seat, random sucker punches, emotional. This and Naruto are the only two anime to legit make a nigga tear up.
Yea that landing and jump was amazing, Pitou was going faster than speed of sound for sure.
He did a sonic boom lol
This bitch is unreal
Zeno finally explaining the time inconsistencies in anime
LOL mah man almost cried when komugi get hurt. This Arc will turn you upside down, definitely the best arc in the anime.
You know shit is about to get real when GrandPa Zoldyck breaks the 4th wall for the prelude to a Netero flashback! 😆
Also notice in episode 112 how as the narration is ongoing that the rain of arrows are NOT moving, to show how much thought and action is happening in such a short time!
Pito was crying because THE KING put forth such a daunting task of healing Komoge showing he truly believes in her ability.
Everything becomes EPIC from now on. HxH is and will always be my favorite anime of all times
One episode and my boy Roshi brain is totally fired from Lupa Syndrome. The man has the table beat with excitement
The VA that gave me serious goosebumps is coming
I almost broke my laptop's mousepad bc I clicked so hard on this video lmao
Tru story
I know they’re on patreon but man it’s brutal waiting for new reactions to drop 😂
I think Pitou crying was because the King said "I'm counting on you." It was an expression of emotion from the King she never experienced before.
Damn ! Seeing this has me anticipating certain eps which i can't wait to see you react to.
Love the predictions bruh crazy
Damn if you start to cry here you are not ready for the next 30+ give or take episodes.
You were not ready for the end of this arc.
Team Up of Zeno and Chairman isnt random.
Chairman even says he is going to seek an old friend episodes ago
bro i could watch ur reaction the whole day ;D
Dude, can't wait for more of this arc's reactions
22:35 - YEP!! Indeed without a doubt!
bro i saw that "surfs up!" thing on the end recommended videos and was like "ayo what?"
but it was unavailable
man
The first episode is Gon and friends going through a portal hole and around some stairs while arrows fall from the sky. And the next one is them going up the stairs. Now I don’t mind a slow story but even the biggest diehard HxH fans would admit that that’s kind of ridiculous.
it's very smart from the writer for not giving #Youpi so much screen time before .... cause his the Main Event in the Ant Squad from now on !
Oh Roshi, you sweet beach episode child. The time to cry is coming
This man ain’t ready
Not Random, Chairman said I'm going to get an old friend. Only old man beside him we have seen is Killua's Grandpa 😂 My second guess was Ging, because he passed at exam 12 so that can make sense.
Episode 111 is my favourite episode. It was so awesome.
man you show more feelings when the other goofs are not around i like it
I wonder how Killua knew what Dragon Dive look like even though he didn't know about Nen and couldn't see Nen before. Killua didn't go back home after learning Nen and he didn't meet his grandpa before this either, he's always with Gon. If Killua saw Dragon Dive before he learned Nen, then Kurapika should have seen the tattooed lady's Nen when she intentionally showed it.
"he hit this bitch so hard, HE got thrown into a flashback" LMAOOOOO
No one was ready for what was about to happen. And I mean us the viewers when I say that.
MOTHERFUCKING DRAGON DAIVU
One of the most badasses one liners ever "Bad Move, little ant"
10:21 Youpi couldn't impress you before because he has something much different to personality or presence, he has HANDS
"This was a lot" Narrator san: "A second has passed"
In the 1400 years history of CHINESE KENPO and the history of anime, nothing is better than HXH 2011. fight me.
Mah boy roshi tear up a little thinking of Komugi's death. I think most of us are waiting for chapter 135 to cry another time to one of the most overhelming scenes of anime.
Everybody gangsta till arrows start raining from the sky.
From here on out the Narrator becomes your favorite! 🔥🔥💯🐲
