I genuinely don't get how Toronto keeps appearing on these lists. I lived there for a year and couldn't get out quickly enough. It's unbelievably expensive for a city with no soul. The suburban sprawl is horrible, the public transit is just as bad, there's very little decent bike infrastructure and drivers are extremely hostile toward cyclists. This coming from someone who lived and worked in a Chinese megacity as well. Sure, getting around in a Chinese city can be chaotic, but at least nobody's angrily trying to run you off the road for just trying to get somewhere. Everyone's stressed and angry all the time, and I get it, knowing that my coworkers who spent an hour or more in traffic each way on their daily commute weren't in the minority. I never thought I'd be so lonely in the biggest city in Canada, but the people were largely cold and anti-social, which is the opposite of what I've found in other big North American cities like Montreal (where I currently live), Chicago and NYC. I don't know what metrics are used to determine that Toronto is liveable, but in my experience, it's a miserable place to be a human being.

Multiculturalism is not a pro for the livability of city. In majority of the cases, its the very opposite of that. The most successful cities (least violent crime, least drug problems) are predominantly white or asian. You can find data supporting this observation easily online.

You have never seen 100s of 1000s of homeless in your city, residing in walking distance from Billionaires I bet. Go visit LA or San Francisco in USA, you will know what I meant.
@@adad-ec6ht i mean, when you can live far better life afford cars, motorcycles, have a house, save money in a city with income of only arround 800 eur per month, or copenhagen, afford 1 room flat, barely survive with food for 3000 eur per month, that is a huge difference. Interesting how always both English and German speaking cities dominate in these rankings. I'm so glad that I learned these two as my 2nd and 3rd languages 👍
What's your 1st language?
Denmark 🇩🇰 Is the Best Country to Live In World
@Wee Tio which one is the best in your opinion?
How tf did Frankfurt make the list.
Without seeing the video I can say that there is no subcontinental city in this video
Stockholm is underrated
I think they take temratures in as a factor
@@hanskerstkrans2135 oh it was 25 to 30 degrees there, perfect for me
You guys really need to cite sources for this information. Also, at around 8:00, that whole section was almost ripped word for word from a CNN article talking about this topic, again not cited. Would not be surprised if more of that is throughout this channel…
Melbourne is the one of the longest lockdowns in the world😂 . It’s beautiful city but i wouldn’t say it’s liveable city it’s very expensive
Melbourne has charm.
Love the trams !
i wouldn´t list Toronto as liveable with high cost of living , rising gun violence and exaggerated real estate
Its comparing to other big cites. Real Estate prices are not considered because Zurich Switzerland real estate is FAR more expensive than what you get in Toronto. These ranking does not account for REAL ESTATE price. Its about Standard of Living - which is consumption-based not wealth-based.
Frankfurt? Lol. You‘re lucky if you don’t get robbed or stabbed at the main strain station 😅
Wien, Wien nur du allein!
Where is this based of
maybe with the exception of calgary or franksfurt. They are very liveable.... as long as you can afford it
frankfurt??? i've never seen a city as trashy and in bad condition in central europe as frankfurt
Frankfurt has it´s problems like every metropole in Europe. but Frankfurt is where it is at. Frankfurt has it all. Amazing Skyscrapers with a river crossing the city. it has a international culture with one of the world´s largest airports, a great university, a great central city with every shop you wish and alot of other opportunities like restaurants of international cuisine.
Also around frankfurt in the noth, where the rich sub-urban cities are located there is a beautiful landscape witch is named "Taunus" . it´s really beautiful.
i´m going to move to Frankfurt in 2024.
I saw a lot of ugly things even in Vienna, I was really surprised by that after everything we hear about Vienna. If you want to see city really full of trash, I recommend visit Lisbon. 🙂
Where can I get full list? Please share link someone
Top 3, Frankfurt, Geneva and Melbourne, the best cities
of course, Japan, Canada and most of west-central Europe, why am I not surprised...
HOW THE FUCK IS TORONTO SO HIGH!
Toronto...
Obviously something wrong with the criteria for choosing best cities.
God , i don't want to know the ranking of cairo 😂😂hope one day it will be among those countries
Multiculturalism is not a pro for the livability of city. In majority of the cases, its the very opposite of that. The most successful cities (least violent crime, least drug problems) are predominantly white or asian.
You can find data supporting this observation easily online.
We all know that, but you are afraid to say that in these days. I am not racist, but ofcourse, when you have city where only one kind of people live, you have less problems which is fact, not racism.
@@Pidalin Racism is discrimination based on race. There's nothing racist about observing reality.
@@rykehuss3435 Yes, but you must be careful today, you can be marked as racist for pretty much anything now. Those antiracist warriors sometimes act as the worst racist without realizing that, in their holy war, they act the same as their "enemies." What I hate the most is that such persons can mark you as racist for not having enough black people in your country (which is not my fault) and they are actually "racist" against you from former communist country which is ok and acceptable for western world because we are obviously worse people.
@@Pidalin I dont give one shit if some tard brands me as a racist.
and you need to make what over 100k euro's per year to actually live in these cities?
I guarantee you Joplin Missouri close to the bottom of that list
Valencia Spain 🇪🇸
most of these cities are cold as heck.
i'd rather just live in thailand lol.
Don’t undwerstand how Melbourne in top 10. Melb. Was locked down for months.
As someone from New Zealand, DO NOT LIVE IM AUCKLAND you will regret it
why tho
I'd like to see the ratings by people vs age.
GENÈVE AND ZURICH SWITZERLAND 🇨🇭.
These lists are mostly made for super rich people. To live a stressless life in most of these cities, you should earn a whole bunch of money. There are way better spots, especially in Europe
my family is middle class at best and I live in Calgary
@@jordenpalinkas9532 Mostly ;) Calgary is quite affordable yet, but the majority of these cities is utopic.
@@worldgrea there's no such thing are utopic though
@@jordenpalinkas9532 utopic in the assumption normal earning people could live there well
How is Washington DC not on here?!???
High crime rate
who the fuck wants to move in to that shitpool full of politicians?
Munich is much more liveable than Frankfurt am Main!!!!!!!
What's the name of the background music?
How come they put Frankfurt on the list? It is really dirty. No culture! No good food, full of homeless people. No night life. It is just so bad.
Australia 🇦🇺 No 1
Austria ✅ not 🦘❌
What happened to Adelaide?
Frankfurt is such amazing.
Dublin?
what is that structure in copenhagen that looks like a mountain but is a structure
Where do
Seattle
Dubai
San diego rate ?
Bruh, r u serious. Omnicron??? ThErE's nO N aFtEr M
i am from switzerland and i kind of disagree with zurich and geneva. both have a stunning vies to the mountains, but both cities are relativly car infested compared to other swiss citys, especially geneva. walking or biking around geneva is really bad, compared to the most other cities i have visited so far in europe. in my opinion chur and basel are way nicer in switzerland.
Crime has skyrocketed also in Geneva.
Is Australia and canada (except for Toronto) really that good? I prefer Germany and USA
If you want a better quality of living (healthcare costs, safety, university/college tuition) then Australia and Canada beat USA. USA has more to offer and better culture as it is followed by most the world.
Coming from someone who grew up in Sydney, Australia, has lived in San Francisco, New York, Boston and has read multiple sources about Canada.
As a person from Melbourne, Australia I find this city very expensive and very isolated from most of the world
Hyderabad ❤️ india 🇮🇳
Calgary 🔥❤️
Where’s Finland?
Geography 101:
Finland is northern neighbour to Russia.
Perth is the best. Sunshine, freedom and fun.
classic western Australian
Boring
Was great until it became unaffordable.
But which City is 4th place?
My friend said, "The best place to live is wherever the Lord wants me, or where I can do the most good."😊Alma 37: 37 says, "Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and He will direct thee for good." (Book of Mormon)
Auckland ❤❤
Next can we see “Most livable cities in the United States (2022)”?
none
There are many.
There are no livable cities in the US. They are all destroyed.
I’m crying due to the absolute horrible pronunciation of the European country’s cities, no hate, still a good video
where's Chicago on this list?
so sad to see 0 African city list
I would better travel all over the world instead of going to live in a city
That wouldn't be so good for the environment
i would put copenhagen as one of top unlivable, while been living there for 3 years. :D
You have never been to New York or LA - that is why.
@@adad-ec6ht all cities in my home country are far more livable, because you earn like 6 times less money, buuuut, the cost of living is like 1/20th compared to copenhagen.
@@Swarmah Cost of a studio 500 sq apartment in a decent place in Manhattan, New York , (that has a bit less crime and drugs) is 5000 USD / Month. Copenhagen is way more affordable. Its more expensive than London. So you should not be complaining. You have to understand other cities are in worse condition.
Thats why, that city cannot be called affordable. Because there are multiple capitals, like half of capitals here in europe, which are more affordable than copenhagen. All Balkan capitals, all Baltic capitals, even expensive cost of living ones Berlin, Paris, Warsow, Madrid, Rome, they all are far more affordable than any scandinavian capital.
@@Swarmah ah I get your point now, Berlin is very cheap; I agree on that.
Toronto.....World Class.

Housing affordability, low wages and the CBD has become a no go area. Also a rise in shootings. Lot of people deported from Australia who have no connection
@@Forgoodnesssakeendha No its actually because of Omicron that it dropped if it was about crime and wages and house affordability the Canadian cities would not have made the list.

Lol Calgary above places like Amsterdam or Munich
