  • This video is an introduction to the NTSB mission. As an independent Federal agency, the NTSB is charged by Congress with investigating every civil aviation accident in the United States and significant accidents in other modes of transportation - railroad, highway, marine and pipeline. The NTSB determines the probable cause of the accidents and issues safety recommendations aimed at preventing future accidents. In addition, the NTSB carries out special studies concerning transportation safety and coordinates the resources of the Federal Government and other organizations to provide assistance to victims and their family members impacted by major transportation disasters.

And what would we do without these guys? Or would we even be here if it wasn't for their recommendations? ~ Love the work you guys at the NTSB do. A million times, thank you for your dedication to our safety

Best branch in the Govt by far. Always out to investigate what happens in accidents and educate us lesson on how to be safe and what to look for to make things safe. My salute to you all men and women working there.
P.S. Keep us posted on the Atlas Air incident.

I was unsure of who to send these to but felt maybe you guys would be able to be look into given it relates to audio/communications. These are a couple of youtube videos that seem to contain some very odd sounding comments that are faint but noticeable throughout both videos.
This first link below seems to contain faint audio of a female speaking faintly in the background somehow through the entire video and does not sound as if it's the person recording the video. Like I said it's somewhat difficult to hear and very faint but is absolutely there and I feel it needs to be listened to closely by your organization. I can hear the female speaking through most of the video but it may be easier to hear at 41:25 into the video and again at 51:45 in the video.
The second link is a flight from Amarillo to Dallas where again there is consistent commentary from someone that's very faint and in the background and sounds like a male speaking this time. This type of audio does not sound usual at all for either of these type of environments.
Please do listen to both of these with headphones when you have a moment.
    Thank you so very much,
