- hello & welcome to another video. today, I am reviewing and comparing all of my art journals/books (wreck this journal, create this book, this is not a book, anti journal). I have been working through art prompt books for years now, and am always looking for a new one- so, with that being said, make sure to let me know your favourites in the comment section:)

mytube I’ve seen the “wreck this journal” series(?). I’ve always wanted one but never could make myself buy one for some reason.
Those are pretty much rip offs though

My favorite is "Create this book"
I feel like create this book has the best quality and this is not a book has the best prompts, unless you prefer prompts that you don't have to think about much the ctb would be a lot better

I have all these journals too. Almost done with my first wreck this journal. It has been about 3 yrs since I started. Can’t wait to finish it.
Personally, I would rate Anti Journal to be the best, by looking at the prompts. I perceive them as the most inspiring of all, but Keri Smith's journals are very good, too, imo. With Create this book, I don't know, those look like prompts to merely decorate, which is not the same as attempting truly explorative art. Yes, you can take it elsewhere if you don't interpret the prompts too literally, but I feel like there's a very little challenge. Probably still very good for practice and technique, just not for conceptual creativity.

I’d say that create this book is probably easier prompt wise- but it could go either way!

I'm almost finished with create this book, i also have CTB 2. after that i am planning to buy the others lol
my create this book has completely fallen apart though.
i love you more scrapbook type pages, i want to try to create more pages like that.
I think the anti journal prompts seem the most fun personally.

=) Yeah!! They're so much nicer, rounded. =) In fact, I have been using a punch to round the corners on all the pages in my art journal, lately.... =) And thank you, I need all the luck and help I can get to finish my WTJ. =)

Hey! So I'm really confused 😂 I saw the completed flip through of this Wreck this Journal on a different channel a few months ago.That video is now removed (i think the channel was SewCraftyAG). I now see another channel re-uploaded that vid and when i watched it again i was pretty sure by hearing the voice of the person that it was you but i still don't get why you don't post a flip through on this channel and the video that was there was on different channels? Is SewCraftyAG also yours? Its okay if you don't want to answer I'm just saying if you don't mind then clear my confusions here 😂PS all your journals are absolutely amazing! You put so much work into them they look awesome!

My pages always seem to stick to the other page.How do you prevent that?
I don't usually have a problem with that, but if that's an issue for you, I'd recommend covering your finished pages with packing tape! Thanks for watching:)

What are promos
Abigail i know I’m late but maybe you could try another Kerri smith book called “mess” it’s like a wreck this journal but with different prompts and you can do art on it too. The cover is a light shade of blue-grey which you can decorate over with more than just stickers. And maybe when you’re done with Create this book, There is obviously the option of doing create this book 2. ❤️❤️❤️
