Dude I think you watched the S3 twice right , how could you forget Sanemi killed his mom and Genya called him a murderer . Also if my Lil brother is eating demons whom I have been hating and killing all this time I would be furious too but not as much Sanemi😅.
No Genya is a human, but he has special organs that only a few are blessed with. So he can ingest demon DNA and gain their abilities temporarily.

Genya is not a demon, he is human. He only has the peculiarity that if he eats demon flesh he gets his powers for a limited time. The wind Hashira I think treats him this way simply because he knows that he does not have the ability to use breathing techniques and is therefore at risk. He plays the villain with him so that he will get away from his environment, so that he will go and live like a normal human a happy life. 😉😊
@@Zi4_Tin4 according to one of the novels, when Sanemi heard his little brother joined the Corps it pissed him off because he wants to protect him, since he's the last of his family, so he tries to disown him to get Genya to quit and live on
Dav got it about Sanemi he is trying to protect Genya secretly cause he wants genya to live a normal life getting married and having familes and stuff while he protects him from demons being his shadow, All the other siblings of them died so he didn't want atleast his only left sibling to put their life at risk at demon slayer corps. That's the main reason. He is trying to protect him secretly.
Reminder: Only Muzan can turn humans to Demons.
Also, a select few like Lady Tamayo(the Demon doctor) has found ways to turn humans into Demons through special methods.
Genya did not gain special powers when his mother was a Demon scratched him. So about Genya and Sanemi, if you remember Genya did blame Sanemi for killing their mother but that was when Genya did not know about demons and that their mother became one. Genya never got to apologise to Sanemi since Sanemi shortly after left to join the Demon Slayer Corps to slay all the Demons that turned his mother into a Demon and killed their family.
