Nice to see you today and enjoyed the bit on Treasure Island as I visited a family there during the Viet Nam era. I was hoping you would leaf thru the book on stamp collecting by James -- as I have been thinking about buying it and suddenly you were gone. Would you consider doing a review of a few books that beginners might find helpful?
"... souffle I got I the oven." WOW! Rough tough cowboys eating a souffle. Can't even imagine that happening. WOW! @55:25 - He jumped off that roof and landed on the saddle horn. Bet that smarted a wee but. Did any one see any Rustling in this picture? Bad title.
I am partial to Black horses, I read the Black Stallion books as a kid. Never had one though. My horses are Bar Money bred crossed with paint horses.. Breeding is more important than color.
As if most other rustlers were not also horse riders! -More thoughts should be applied at least to the titles of films, plays, essays, articles and books! - JZ, 6.8.20.
This lapse of memory between films goes along with the fact that the hero never has to reload his sixgun during a chase. We kids probably knew that somehow he had to reload. We didn't know about the mechanics of film production. We believed the hero did his own fights and didn't use a double. In watching these films, you have to put aside your adult comprehension and use what the scriptwriters call "Suspension of Disbelief." In other words, preten d that you are a naïve nine year old kid totally enjoyed with the action on the screen. Otherwise it's not fun and you're still a grumpy adult.
Mike Newton still LOVE to watch this stuff . reminds me of a Lot of crazy places were they were shown around the 50s and 60s brings up the child in some old folks for maybe some last moments
Was ARL the baddest, all around talented Westerner portrayed on film? I mean, he lasso's and drags a man's foot for crying out..."..I was talking to you Klune." Yank! :)
And Rocky saves the day again ...... love it !
THANK you for the great western and great American culture
Great movie. Waller was a great sidekick. His character had smarts and good sense, well, most of the time.
What a wonderful movie. Allan Lane is a fine actor. This is the third movie of his in a week that I have watched. Will finish the series.
No cussing, no undo violence, real acting, hard to come by today!!!
And those fist fights fever last forever😆😆
Cept’ the knifin’,shootin’and mayhem
“Undo” violence sounds like that which results in the severing of body parts and that would certainly be undue. Lol
Undue violence?.. 15 people got killed in the first 20 minutes..

Good movie. Rocky's hat must be glued to his head.
Rocky never seems to know Nugget from one episode to the next.
Most dramma fist fight in any western few dull moments🤗
Great actor ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good Western!! Not too many of these actors alive today!!
Thanks to Nevada Jane. I am 78 and I watched Rocky Lane movies in Bloomfield, Indiana in about 1949-1950 at the Citadel theater.
Gotta love a good western!
I like that these old westerns have the good guys in white hats and baddies in black ones!😅😅🤣😂a simple thing and I like it !
Thanks for a great movie.
I like Mr. Ed's voice
Thanks for sharing it! I always enjoy watching Old Western Movies though. 👍👌👏
An of course, I'm a subscriber!
Thanks Again Though.
apparantly cowboys didn't ever need a bathroom or even a bush, etc. Just wake up and get going!
Yea,and very seldom get laid
Which holds true in most movies throughout history, unless a bathroom stop is written as part of the script.
Makes sense, I do not want to see them using the bathroom nor anyone see me using one either.
Rocky Lane took over as the western comic book hero 'Red Ryder' when Wild Bill Elliott graduated from B to A westerns at Republic.
Good film not seen this before

Those are some wild ass fist fights..
"... souffle I got I the oven." WOW! Rough tough cowboys eating a souffle. Can't even imagine that happening.

Good, thanks.
Subbed for sure, thanks!!!
Pretty slim pickins for rustlers back in them days. Never seen a cow in the whole movie! Great movie though.
Next in the series, Rustlers On Donkeys!
And after that, Rustlers on Foot.😅
I assume that rustlers on horseback are more effective than rustlers on foot.
strings tugging the pot lids 26:20 I love to catch these things. Does that make me a bad person?
I love black Jack, that stallion could run
I am partial to Black horses, I read the Black Stallion books as a kid. Never had one though. My horses are Bar Money bred crossed with paint horses.. Breeding is more important than color.

Awesome
not only does his hat not come off but they never seem to see the white of it on his head either.

And no horses, cows, sheep were rustled!
Advertising Maverick tv series? where the hell are they?
I don't know if Rocky Lane's voice changed between here and 1961 or if he changed it to do the voice of Mr. Ed.
As a horse, he was hoarse?
+D Storm Of course of course.
Good film
I got in a fight last week and never lost my glasses, I don't understand
Love watching the Arab horses.
😂 What Arab horse???
That black is a MORGAN!
@@ellafields9424 As both the sire and the dam of the original Morgan are most commonly thought to have descended from Arabian bloodlines . . .
Only thing that annoys me is lane and nugget meet many films never seem to remember each other?
Sure nuff many films together no memory.
ad drugs?

J. Bruce Fox know
Why would "Rocky" opt for a fist fight while carrying 2 revolvers? Just saying.
A good movie.
Cowboys were REAL STRONG MEN. These days we have only COWard MEN not COWBOYS ❤❤😂
Not seen them before
Enjoyable.
$125,000 was a lot of money back in the Old West.
$125,000 is a lot of money now!
That $125K in 1875= $2.88M in 2018 funny money.
WHY do you title this "MAVERICK TV SERIES" ?
these old westerns not bad and
If you do see this WHAT guy???? at 50:56
Describe him for me, what's he look like?
yep, twenty shot six guns
unless you've got a chainsaw that aint firewood
You would think he would first look around for firewood right where he was!
GOOD WESTERN!!!
👍👍👍
sliced bread didn't arrive until 1928, their probably still in the 1800s
Good
I've yet 2C a bad Republic picture in black n white.
na~existe condição de ser legendado em portugues....
It’s a movie
Good flick, but a stupid title. There's no rustlin' a-goin' on. That was pretty typical back then. ☺
Even Yosemite Sam had a ten shooter.
Was ARL the baddest, all around talented Westerner portrayed on film? I mean, he lasso's and drags a man's foot for crying out..."..I was talking to you Klune." Yank! :)
Dagwood blonde all series
No
The rifle above the door was facing the left earlier. Now it's facing the left.
It's a shotgun, and he pulled it down on nugget, then put it back.
Must be a revolver
