In Japan, Blue Archive has dominated the art community. There are more stalls dedicated to Blue Archive than anything else in the last Comiket and the upcoming one. It's comparable to Touhou and Kancolle except Blue Archive is somewhat more popular globally as it's quite popular in South Korea, too. The Blue Archive anime could have been higher quality, but I heard that Yostar Pictures dedicated some of their time and resources into making the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! anime, which is also airing this season. Overall Blue is my favorite gacha game. I'd even argue that it's the cutest gacha game out there.
The cutest and funniest (😭) gacha game I've ever played. You don't need to suck your soul into the game only to get a glisme of what to do and what to farm in the game. A very laid-back and chill game you can play as casually and a competitor player.
Is Mika a bad person at the start of Volume 3? Unequivocally yes. But she grows in one of the better examples of character growth I ever seen anywhere. "My students are allowed to make mistakes."
I remember when I started blue archive last year it was a constant “wait this bgm sounds familiar” “wait this sounds even more familliar” “hold up this one is really fucking familiar”
BA is one of those games that you simply have to play to enjoy. I loved the music for a while but never fully grasped how much the community loved the characters - especially since the trailers depicted them to be tropey. But when I learned more about the characters, what they go through, and (especially) how Sensei acts toward them (consistently responsible and genuinely offering guidance to them), I quickly fell in love with the game. I'm proud to look after my students, and give them the comfort and reassurance they need to move on...
Bro, i litterally feel the same way, its so beatiful to see characters grow and go along with them helping them and offering guidance to them. They first time i played BA i loved the prologue and was so excited to be able to play the game, then when i finally was able to i literally played the 1 and 2 Volume in a few weeks, its the best thing ever, truly i think BA will last for a lot of time. Yes i also had no idea about the community, but must i say, they are basically the best community i´ve ever seen, very good and charming people and the love they have towards the characters, the developers of BA did a good job making EVERY character unique. The music is also good for BA. Overall my favorite Game now and ever.
I'd like to think that every sensei is valid sensei as long as he or she is an adult who cared for their students more than themselves. Especially after Vol.F The same situation, The same decision
Not gonna lie, the lack of challenge and commitment to being mostly a visual novel contextualized by gameplay is what makes BA's story easy to follow. Just deleted Nikke off of my phone after going through 2 months of stop and go storytelling because the story progression is trash in ways that even raw skill can't solve, making for a really unengaging grip on the story. The fact that they seperate story and gameplay focused modes in BA is a blessing in it's own right. It just avoids the gacha storytelling traps 0:35 Also don't you DARE slight Planetarium like that! That visual novel will make you die inside once it's all over. 😭
btw. Although sensei could be a dog character. It is explicitely stated in the prologue (By Rin) that Sensei was summoned (whatever that means) from another world. So you are free to believe what Sensei looks like. Dog people in Kivotos is well,,, really weird. You have cat people but also just cats and you have cat girls... The Male gender probably? exists because characters recognize drawing of men (Koharu's book features a Male character while Cherino's office portrait was commented by Makoto as " a different Gender".) Funny thing about Dog people. They are technically? bulletproof as well. The game has featured them getting shot a few times. I think Kirino's character story she literally shot these people by accident.
Not "summoned" in the sense of isekai, I believe the meaning they wanted to go for was "contacted" or "called" there. They state that Sensei is from "outside of Kivotos", which is why he's neither a dog person or a robot, since the other people from outside Kivotos are Gematria, all of which are (at the very least) humanoid in appearance.
@@kaitoalkan Now I don't speak japanese (only kinda semi understand what the characters are saying) but I do speak korean and the devs are also korean. The korean text uses "불러낸" which can be used to mean you called someone over but is also commonly used to say summoned. So yeah he could be part of the world and just happened to be called into Kivotos but I think the text also implies summoned? I think the devs intentionally made it quite vague.
@@yesihateu2218 There's no implication in the story that it's conventional isekai though. Most of the "other world" stuff happens LONG after you've been in Kivotos, and with other characters like _ahem_ "Anubis"
@@LoliconSamalik ofcourse its not isekai. I am saying there is a possibility that the Sensei was summoned. All is vague in how Sensei got to Kivotos. Since you mention Anubis you know other characters also have this kind of "true identity" thing right?
Truly i think this game will last for at least and even more than a decade. Overall beatiful game, beatiful community and very dedicated and passionate developers.
I remember getting into blue archive during launch and its one of my favorite gacha games, the story is deep and made you feel for the characters, gameplay wise it could get repetitive and the gacha system is somewhat generous depending on how much mercy the pity system is willing to give you,but you have many different types of missions you can take, the momotalk is useful if you wanna spend more time with your favorite students and it teaches you alot about them, the soundtrack is awesome, the community is very wholesome there's alot of fanfics weather it's gamer momoi and mika making racist jokes or sensei getting corrected by kivotos, i hope nexon doesn't kill this game, the anime adaptation is alright maybe cutting off a few corners like not explaining how the halo works but regardless I hope it gets 2 seasons at most.
For sensei being in human form and not dog, you can replay the vol 1 (forgot which chapter) when Nonomi said that "sensei is not really different from us" which imply that we are humanlike. I don't know if this is translated in global version since I read the story in Jp server which is the reason why I stay at Jp because translation in global is somewhat misleading sometimes...
To be fair it doesn't have as much impact on later volumes from what I've read so far (just started the homeless rabbit arc) and as much as I enjoyed the spy story, the stakes are kind of all over the place lol
Vol2Ch1 is great for rpg references and vibing with the game dev club. Vol2Ch2 is setup for VolFCh3. Decent chapter but the ones after it makes it pale in comparison.
I will never play any other gatcha game beyond Nikke. I don't have that kind of time in my life anymore. It's neat to hear that this one is goofy and unhinged at the start.
funny i played both, dropped Nikke ... after quiet few months. But not a single time I considered dropping BA. Pro tip - be true to what you said. Because once you start BA , you won't leave :). So from your perspective its best to never try.
The gud thing about BA is it doesn't require much time of your daily life to play, something that is uncommon in modern gachages. Definitely a wagie-friendly game.
