haha well yeah makes sense since in the older concert he just played is as a 'prop' and so many people were mad lol. I think even in this one but this song specifically he played the guitar live rather than as a prop. I think he is just getting used to playing while singing which is hard to do.
Some insider knowledge- Tyler was still learning to play and sing the songs during their first few shows. He wrote these songs with Tim two years before they ever played them live. He plays the guitar beautifully and has since he was young.

Haha too true. First couple of videos I saw of them I kept wondering why he wasn't improvising more. He's not bad though.
