Hi Bennett, Great job with your macaroons they turned out wonderful for your first try! I'm a culinary chef and when I was in culinary school, macaroons were the hardest to make and perfect. When you're trying to make the meringue try to continuously leave the mixer until it's at the right peak because if you stop and turn on the machine it's losing air. Then you want to fold in the mixture with almond flour incorporating it fully so that it does not fall flat. When the mixture is in your piping bag you want to have a firm grip on the piping bag and apply pressure to the middle of the bag so that the macaroons keep their shape and will expand in the circle. Then you want to pick up the tray and slightly tap it on the counter so that they don't have any air bubbles and you'll have what we call "feet" a flat surface on the bottom. I hope these tips help you out. Btw coming from a chef you would be one amazing chef too. Sending all of you blessings and love.
Jevy, thank you for such encouragement for youg Bennett. I get such joy watching his enthusiasm for food. I hope that you will reach out and mentor him I promise it will feed yoyr soul. Thank you for the tips I in my old age am about to start my on macaroon journey ( pistashio is my favorite). ❤❤❤
@@DragonQueenx1 aww the kitchen is ageless and enjoy the tranquility and peace of baking. Best of luck making them. My favorite macaroons are raspberry flavored and red velvet. Have a blessed day!
Lauren I can't believe how much you're uploading at the moment with a new baby and serveral big summer projects but I am loving every one of them. Hope you're getting some time for you to rest as well x
Awesome video. Those raspberries look amazing and delicious. So great to see everyone helping out in the patch. Bennett great job on the macaroons. Such a beautiful pink color. Such a talented young boy. Everett great job helping your mom make the jam. Such a great helper. So glad Grandpa came to help with Violet.
I make raspberry dumplings I cook about a cup and a half of raspberries, a cup of water, add a cup of sugar and cook until boiling then drop in dumplings cook until dough is done
Hi Lauren, those berries looks so delicious, nice haul . Baby Violet looks so much like Everett, She's so precious ❤..Thats some Great singing Lauren . and i love seeing your parents get all that time with you all. Thanks for taking us along with y'all.
Here in East Tenn, our berries (Blackberries & Raspberries )are usually ready to pick the last of June or the first week of July. I've picked berries every 4th of July for 50 yrs. It was something that me and Grandmother use to do every year.
I really enjoy your family and your blogs/videos. I wish I lived close to you so I could pick some raspberries. I love jam and you could make raspberry ice cream, you could also freeze some raspberries for milkshakes. You have so many ideas and I love watching your boys, you, & Mark. You also make so many delicious meals. Thank you for sharing your family, recipes, shopping (for great ideas) your life with all of us. ❤❤❤ The chocolate raspberries try using a cookie sheet and have the chocolate on the sheet and drop the raspberries into the chocolate and use another cookie sheet and and put them in the freezer. You also could melt chocolate & white chocolate and drizzle that over the raspberries. I am jealous of all the raspberries you have.
Coming from someone who has never picked a berry or fruit of any kind, i love watching when you harvest your berries, potatoes, etc. I love all the content you are putting out - amazing! Thank you for sharing! Can't wait for the next. 💜
Those raspberries are awesome! They are very expensive in the grocery stores. Your different methods of preserving were terrific.! Everett stays nearby with a ready hand to sample each type😋😋. And those Macaroons…wow! Susan
This was one of my favorite videos yet! ❤ For the chocolate covered ones - put the frozen berries on a wire rack on top of a cookie sheet and then pour chocolate over top, works great! Have a great day family!
One of my favorite things to make with fresh or freeze-dried raspberries is lemon raspberry bread or lemon raspberry muffins. They seem quite fancy compared to the standard lemon blueberry that many of us have baked for years.
I recently discovered your channel and you are becoming one of my favorites to watch. My daughter spent a month in AK this summer and reported that it was one of the most beautiful places she had ever been to.
Those raspberries look so delicious 😋. Love all you did with them it must be really nice to have a grown up son who makes recipes those cookies looked fabulous.
Funny! I just got one of those exact jar sealers! I’ve been putting off using it cuz I didn’t have time to read the instructions! Now it’ll be fast to figure it out!
Hello from Ohio I love watching you. I love how this family works together at everything. Baby Violet loving it to yes I have agree she looks a lot like Everett. Can’t wait till the next video bye
Wow, you worked so hard to get several things done !! So nice to have yummy treats and berries to eat !! Nice that the boys pitched in and Bennett's macarons came out great, they looked good !! ❤
Wonderful video. You definitely showed a lot of different ways to do with the raspberries. Very interesting. Great job on the macaroons. It is just totally awesome how your boys just jump right in and help with baking or cooking or even canning or freezing your stuff. They will become wonderful men when they grow up. Just like their father. Lauren, you are a wonderful mother and teacher. From everything we have seen on the videos, Mark is wonderful father. He seems like he doesn't mind taking time to teach or help with the children. Miss seeing Luna today. Sending love to y'all from Texas ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ one for Luna🐈❤
As an adult I loved doing projects with my parents . Sadly I miss those days of spending premium time with my folks. Watching your family doing all the projects fills that empty hole in my heart. Thank you and your precious family for sharing the videos. God Bless you! 🙏🏻❤️❤️ has filled that empty
That is my fault, didn't watch back through one last time before posting. It always bites me when I skip that step! I took care of it now but it was 100% a mistake on my end.
Raspberry fun today! You can tell that the boys love them! Lots of good ideas! Keep it coming Lauren! Alaska has a lot to offer! The Hamm family is one of the best!😇😇
I am so jealous. Raspberries so expensive in Australia. Freeze dried ones on line so expensive. I can only dream of having that many and have options. I stuff Medjul dates with peanut butter coat in dark chocolate and roll in crushed freeze dried raspberries. So num. My treat xxx
Oh this is a super video your family will enjoy these raspberries all winter they can even take some in their school lunches .many years ago I had a blueberry patch on my land and had lots of berries as well as some to share .perfect video love getting all the family involved . Thank you for sharing .
I make strawberry freezer jam every year. But oh would I love to have a raspberry patch like yours! I save glass jars throughout the year, like olive or pickle jars, and use those for my freezer jam.
I love raspberries but here in Colorado a 6 0z container is $2.50 on sale. We can grow them here but if you don't have the space, it's just not doable. So, enjoy every single berry!!
I love canning jelly’s/jams….I do some freezer jam but it takes up to much room and the other way I can store easier…enjoying some peach jam this morning……great video
Raspberry jam is my favorite! I love the Bonne Maman brand. Try making raspberry ice cream in your cream with the jam and some fresh berries. So yummy!
My two grown kids went to anchorage Alaska for a year and a half and they felt in love I wanted to go and meet you and your beautiful family hopefully one day ❤
Make your chocolate thinner you could pour over raspberrys or do a chocolate fondue with marshmallow stick and dip the raspberrys in, be a good bonfire marshmallow raspberry sticks, you could also put berry's in ice cube tray pour chocolate then cool until hard
Loved the look of all the berries, yummy. One suggestion, we don't grow any berries but when the time comes and we can buy in bulk, we freeze. One thing we do is measure the bag, such all bags in one cup measures.
Bennett, those macaroon’s looked lovely. All the raspberries look amazing. Fruit leather sounds awesome for sure. Love how everyone gets involved even Miss Violet tasting the berries. ❤
That was so much fun to watch! I love raspberries and at about $4 for 6 oz they are a treat! Great that you can do all those fabulous recipes to preserve them, and they're organic. Macaroons looked amazing!

If you want to test your jar sealer put marshmallows in a jar to test. The marshmallows will expand and extract.

Wow all those raspberries. So envious. My fave fruit. I’ve certainly got ideas now how to use them.
It's fun to watch you picking up raspberries in rain. We are staying inside at 90s in TX 😪

Thanks for trying the Mason jar sealer. I almost purchased one a couple of weeks ago and I think I will put it on my list for Santa this year.

That would be a very good idea to make up your own little basket for picking. Then you could design it maybe a little different to make it your own!
I love raspberries it’s my favorite jam. As always I love watching your boys helping out I can’t believe how Violet has grown she is getting so big.❤
