I’m so glad you kept it in! This is real life for all us handmade sellers, people don’t know the frustrations, I’ve been trying to sublimate 20oz skinny tumblers, let’s just say it’s not going well! Family and friends love the freebies 😂. But it is very frustrating and it’s not cheap when these things go wrong. Good luck with the next lot you get! I’ve tried a few craft markets but sadly they have been a total utter fail and one hadn’t been advertised at all, very unhappy stall holders 😢 so I’m just doing Etsy for now. But would love my business to grow and watching you always encourages me to keep going. X
I have seen people use UV dtf! I’d love to get sublimation to work so I can make them on demand, fingers crossed! Thank you so much for watching :) xxx
Good for you for keeping it in! It’s the reality of running a business. I currently have seconds mugs all over the flaw from before I managed to crack the mug press! One thought I did have is that htvront have this sublimation vinyl where you basically sublimate onto the vinyl, and then you can apply the vinyl to the tumblers (or anything else you wanted). Obviously the end result wouldn’t be dishwasher safe but it’s another option. PS…thanks for the easy omelette tip as we’ve got an air fryer and I need to think of more things to do with it xx
Thank you for sharing, I love watching your studio vlogs whilst im prepping orders. Mama here attempting a small business since 2020 from Essex but now based in Lincolnshire too!
Amazing vlog, really enjoyed it, don't worry I run a sublimation business too and I've made many mistakes aswell, once I forgot to take the plastic seal off the coasters and after sublimating them they were a disaster 😂
I know you've been reading lately and mentioning Peaky Blinders made me think you'd like the book House of Bane and Blood by Alexis L. Menard. It has some spice to it, but it has the Peaky Blinders vibe to it. Second book, City of Mirth and Malice comes out in May!
awww Milly, sorry to see it didn't work out with the glass cans but you can still use them with uv dtf, and it doesn't need a special coating! peaky blinders...brilliant show but very bloody 😮
Loved this. But do not be so hard on yourself about the glass cups. You can always use UV DTF for regular glass or hard surfaces. But yes for sublimation most items need the coating on them. For cups it is suggested to always measure the cups since each brand is a different size. That will help with the gap you had. Your tea looked yummy makes me want to make it for dinner lol. Hope you had a great week
Not related to anything you talked about but... what camera do you use? (I didn't see it in the description) but the quality/colour/lighting of this your video is so good!! 🤩 Good luck and hope you get the sublimated tumblers next time!
Ah it’s an easy mistake to make! You could use vinyl or DTF on the plain tumblers instead? Sublimation is really hit and miss and lots of trial and error!! xx
I completely understand! I’ve used so much material with just testing out making stickers that it’s tough to keep that motivation going

You can use UV dtf with glass and you dont even need heat, and it looks SUPER vibrant!

Hi, I love watching your videos! Do you mind mentioning what type of camera your using to record your videos?
It’s the Sony ZV-1! Xxx

Ahh thank you so much! It’s the Sony ZV-1 camera and I use Final Cut Pro to edit and colour balance etc :) xxx

Where is the pegboard from?
Etsy! X
❤
Maybe leaving the shelves plain wood might look lice with the pink pegboard display
Love this idea! X
Yummy dinner!
It was very delicious if I do say so myself hehe!
Hi Milly, another great vlog! :) It's always exciting when a booboo is kept in the video, keeps us real! :)
