If it is just a camera with GPS saving to your phone why does it have to be so big? How is this company making money? Why can’t you talk about how much money it makes? Red flags left and right.
Sounds like a scam or a bad investment. 1. google use 360 camera for a reason 2. they their camera outside for a reason too I saw some picture of the camera and you see the reflection of the windshield and a poor quality with a fov that you don't want when looking for a streeview.
If something becomes decentralized the burden costs a corporation would usually take is moved to the people because there is no single entity that leads the progress. The same happens when you switch or sell or buy crypto. You pay a transaction fee because there is no central bank that takes that cost for you. Google prolly spent hundreds of millions making Google maps so the fact you can contribute to compete against it for only $500 is kinda amazing.
How is the company making these making revenue? Just by selling these fancy boxes? If so then it's just another ponzi scheme and will fail in the same exact way that helium did
The issue with Helium is they've built something that customers don't really feel they need. The Helium team thought that companies would prefer to use the Helium network instead of cellular networks, but so far that hasn't been the case. With HiveMapper though a mapping service that is independent of Google or Apple is an attractive proposition.
Man this would have been great when i was an installer. I use to cover like 3 states everyday. Would be nice to mine with car ...or a refrigerator ...cause its on all the time. ...also that mask is fire
Looks really cool. I drive 1,000 miles a week sometimes But i saw the Team its the Solana guys ....not big fan hmmmm great concept though time to give google maps a run for their money
Don't recommend, the quality of the dashcam it's rubbish. Paid 525 pounds, received it , manage to mine for 5 days and it won't connect to the WiFi. Think twice before buying, waiting for the support for three days now and nothing. Apparently others had the same problem.
@@RabidMining yes, I can't see the dashcam wifi, tried other phones as well, reinstalled the app, disconnected the wallet and connected back.... nothing seems to work
Oh man, I do want one but I'm not sure about the cost. I can think of so many other things I can buy with $495. An asic or some GPUs. Uggggg. Now to sell a kidney.
As far as using the phones memory, I found a old phone android and use it solely for the dashcam. When I get home the wifi kicks in and downloads. The mask is cool!!!!

Not at the price they are charging for the unit. I'd consider it at $200 but $500 is steep. It's an interesting concept.

When I connect the dash cam to wifi . I lose connection on my phone ( spotify/internet) . is there a fix to this?
In data allow apps to use cell data and select the ones you want to remain with cell data on wifi

Phone won't pair with it? App is all up to date and firmware? Had it for a few months no issues

Can tell it not to use cell data to upload so can do it at home later
