Various early storyboard sketches edited together with the Mac Tonight theme. Unsure of who now owns these storyboards, they went up for sale some years ago. CavitySam has scans of them, of course, but I was left on read after requesting a copy of them. I even offered my life savings! Anyway, this is the closest we'll get to scans of them for now. The original photos can be found on my Instagram, @MacTonight8. Elements from the storyboards were used in the first two commercials, Spinning Burger and Mac Tonight Cards, and this unfilmed commercial likely inspired the 1996 Rocket Car commercial.
What if, hear me out, there WAS a fully filmed version, that is still out there somewhere, maybe on one of Doug's Mac Reels? It might've just went unaired, I'd love to see a filmed/blender Recreation of it.
No, this was just a storyboard made in the 80s for a never-produced commercial. However, elements of this storyboard seem to have been used in other commercials, such as the first 1986 Spinning Burger commercial and, in particular, the 1996 Rocket Car commercial.

Do you happen to have the full song version from the radio?
I wish! I've tried contacting Brock Walsh (singing voice of Mac Tonight) to see if he has a copy, but have not had a response.
Did this commercial air? Is it just a rare commercial?
