Hi Karen, if students submit through Google Classroom alone, it won't show up as a submitted assignment in Canva, so I'd recommend having them submit it via Canva.

If you're doing all of your sharing through Microsoft Teams, no they do not need a Canva account. But they do get more features even if they just use the free account.
Yeah, Canva is definitely beginner friendly, though it does have plenty of advanced features. But for image editing, photoshop is definitely going to be more functional

Hi Emily, for links to work in Seesaw you'll have to use the link tool as opposed to bringing in a hyperlinked document from Canva, because that will only set it as a background.

You're very welcome! You won't be able to access the exact Bitmoji from this video just because it's my personal Bitmoji. You'll need to create your own Bitmoji first and then add it into a scene in Canva. Hope that helps!

Tried to use this in class, the language was impossible for me to understand how to locate in settings how to change it in English, beyond frustrating!
I like Canva, it could be a real game changer in the class. The biggest problem or unknown for me and my district is Student Privacy. Canva do not want to sign state privacy agreements and judging by their privacy statement its not clear if they pass FERPA, COPPA, and CIPA. I can't recommend to a teacher to use this tool in their classroom if it does not clearly protect our students' data and privacy. I hope Canva clears this up because I would love to see it used in our classrooms.
Hi Dennis, yeah, student privacy is of course of utmost importance. I'll have to do some more digging into this to see what I can find. It might be that Canva for Edu is a relatively new program.

Hi thanks for this channel video. I have a question about assignments. I assigned the same canva task to all of my students not knowing that all of them were editing the same one all along until students complained that their work is being changed. I realised I sent the same task to all of them later. Then I had to copy that task so many times and sent each one to students so that each one got their own task. Am I doing the right thing? Is there an easier way to send the one task to lots of students where they do their own one and not the same where each student changes the same task? Hope that makes sense. Thanks
Hi Sam. I work with Classroom and Canva a lot. I've already prepared my Classroom for my classes but oh, surprise... Canvas banner for Google Classroom didn't fit. I saw the banner on my computer and the image was way too big so it couldn't be seen correctly. Actually I tried to use the one I had last year and it didn't work either. I ended up changing the size of the elements, they are now tiny images but I could see them "properly" on the banner. I thought the problem had been solved until some minutes ago. I opened Classroom on my cell phone and guess what!! The banner images look ridiculously small!!! 😂 Do you happen to know why? Or how to correct this? I'd really appreciate you advice on this matter. You often don't need a document if you are using a school email address: they are able to verify it automatically. Otherwise, I believe they'll give you some options for the types of documents you can submit as proof that you're a K-12 educator.

Unfortunately it's going to work similarly in that students could delete each other's answers on a Canva board, just like Jamboard

My students use cava from browsers and they have no problem to do it. Noted to download the app.

Is it possible for students to add a Google Doc into a project?
You can link your Google Drive to Canva but you can only bring in photos and videos that you have in Drive. You can't import Docs unfortunately.

Yes, you do need to be a current teacher to get access to an education account, but you can still use the free version or pay for the Pro version.

I'm pretty sure you can't see files a student creates outside of your class, so no.
