Tropical Storm Beryl LIVE Updates: Strong Winds Wreak Havoc in Texas as Millions Left without Power
At least 7 people have died after Hurricane Beryl slammed into south-east Texas and Louisiana, knocking out power for nearly three million people. Beryl hit the southern United States on Monday as a category one hurricane, but it has since been downgraded to a tropical depression. Officials warned of destructive winds, up to 15in (38cm) of rain and "life-threatening" storm surges. Further, Beryl Hurricane has led to flooding of 5-star hotels including Holiday Inn and have led to overturning of cars.

My farm and house took a direct hit from Hurricane Beryl. Lucky there were no damages. I went outside a few times during the hurricane and the wind takes your breath away making it hard to breath. It is such an Adrenalin rush. I had a pond dug on my farm two years ago and now if finally filled up with water. Houston people should make lakes to store all that excess rain water.
