  • So the idea of making this 1000 piece edge grain cutting board came to me as a way to celebrate and to say thank you to my 1000 subscribers on RUclips. Each piece of course represents each of those first subscribers. And making this video is my way of saying thank you to each and every one of you!

you get major kudos for this project and video!! I cant ever imagine trying to replicate it, The end result is awesome. BTW, I love how you included the subscriber counts. That was very clever. Congratulations on a great build and especially for reaching 1000 subscribers. Most people have no idea how difficult that is to accomplish!

I also have E.T. and am making holders for my french cleat wall. The challenge with E.T. causes making things significantly more time consuming. Your work is excellent and the Walnut chisel holder is quite nice. I'll bet that took several hours. Thanks for sharing.

@@LTDWoodworks Yeah, was more an indirect congratulatory on being nearly 10x the previous milestone in just over two years - the 1000-piece would have been more than enough for me too 😉

“OH MY” as Dick Enberg would have said! Using your creation as a cutting board would be like using a Faberge’ egg to play tennis with! I’m not sure I could muster the courage to bring a chef’s knife down on it. Well done! Meticulously thought out, beautifully executed. A lavish and luscious result!

Thank you so much for the kind words! My wife actually uses it several times a week and loves it as well. I have had to sand it down one time so far and reapply oil and wax. So as of now it basically looks as good as it did the day I finished it. Thanks again and thanks for watching!
