Thank you for detailed instructions. How do you think: Is it possible to run SITL on linux based micro SBCs like recent risk-v based milk-v with connected read ESC, barometer and other sensors as bridged devices via linux drives? I understand that there are lot of software is missing but does it it worth moving in this way?
This is awesome! Will it also work with inav SITL v6.1.0? Also I could not figure out where to get the quad.bin eeprom file.. I guess it should be different in case I want to use the Flying wing in X-Plane instead of RealFlight?
It will also work with SITL v6.1.0. eeprom file is settings saved for your virtual FC. It can automatically create one and save your settings to that file. I have multiple projects on going, so I have to specify the save path.
Thank you @@shotahayashi2969 , I've tried it with the X-Plane 11 and the NK_FPVSurfwing model from the INAV-X-Plane-HITL repo. I was able to link X-Plane and inav_SITL successfully using your helpful video. What I'm trying to do is sending MSP commands from my script to the inav_SITL via TCP so I can control the drone inside X-Plane. It seems it accepts my commands, but unfortunately it does not react to it in expected manner (at least I can't make the drone to take off)...
Thank you Shota for your work and time to share this project.
working like a charm very nice to experment with. Thank you very much for this tutorial in setting this up.
Thank you for your work!!!
What does the inav connection to the realflight offers. I mean, why should you do that. I am a newbie sorry.

Try to learn how to create manuals with video.
