Maybe file off the bottom of the rail so they match up without a bump. Or file a groove in the turntable lip.

My dear brother ❤, "Miniature World" has 3 aspect signal so how did he connect, did he connect manually or automatically?
I've not asked him.
This doesn't axplain how you wired this into the layout to support DCC. I have the identical turntable, it works on AC power the same way you have configured yours; but how did you wire it it for DCC?
There is nothing special. I just wired and powered the turn table as mentioned. And my locos are running smoothly from DCC tracks to TT and TT to dcc tracks.
What is the amperage draw? Did you ever put a meter to it?
Actually I've not tried to do that.....
