I’ve never been able to pinpoint the style that I’m interested in because I’m genuinely interested in a range of different styles, aesthetics, decades and fashion brands but from this video I finally understand that I’m a mix between creative and natural😭
I'm so glad that a video finally captured my style personality! I'm Creative and there's almost no style quizzes that have this style personality. I usually get bohemian, my family says it's sorta hippy. I love reading, painting, and I literally fabric paint on my clothes, sometimes flowers, sometimes snakes, sometimes glow in the dark fabric paint. I love artsy pieces, strange or bright designs, unique cuts, etc. And I love unique strange shoes. I don't identify with brands but if I had to choose, dolce and gabbana has stunning accessories but I tend to make my own jewelry. I also made a dress out of male ties, no one knew it was ties they just assumed it was a colorful dress and I got so many compliments. And I make bags out of different fabrics like jeans. And I like repurposing clothes like making gold pants into a jacket. If I'm wearing something that's unique I feel like a true representation of my individuality and fashion. My secondary style would be feminine, I have tons of floral, lace, and (fake coz I love animals) fur pieces.
I feel like the creative has a tendency to be subjective since art is subjective. It is simply having the "art and design sense" and be your own fashion designer but you are your own model.

I love that you mentioned the possibility of experimenting with different Style Personalities, while staying true to your Signature Style. I often feel restricted by other systems and your system allows me to fully express myself on different occasions. I knew immediately the three that I am: Feminine, Sexy, and Creative. Dashes of Elegance are easily adopted as an aesthtic for me but it is not at my core. Though I have a way of making elegance work for me in a way that is defined by my dominant styles that is ultimately my own. I LOVED THIS VIDEO!

For anyone struggling to find theirs, here's hope. I wanted an accurate picture so instead of just rating myself on each type, I channeled some perfectionism and tallied each statement about each style under two columns: what I have and what I want or admire. Made the headings: I am, I want, I need. Counted the scores then put the top two 'haves', 'wants' and bottom two 'haves' (with most 'wants') under the three headings respectively. The end result was bang on! I'm going for an improvement in my style and aiming to balance between all 7 seems like the way to do that. Great video!

I'm so used to working management/retail that I found myself dressing the part of whatever brand I worked for. Every since I became an entrepreneur finding my own signature style has been interesting. I find myself wanting to be dressed for my lifestyle which is casual but still staying classic while making a statement, all at the same time lol. So far, Im pulling it off. People compliment my style all the time!
I am totally Classic...I enjoy that pulled together look...I am most comfortable dressed this way...effortless dressing for me and I can focus and be present and not concerned about my appearance!

Even tho I’m 25 I feel like I dress quite childlike and playful, so probably lean towards the creative type and I am definitely the creative type personality wise. I even have some tops/jumpers/pjs from the kids section😂When I was younger I definitely was inspired by Disney channel characters styles, but now my outfits are all about colour (even tho I hardly leave my house) I like my outfits to be bright and multicoloured but still match and go together. People compliment me on my colour combinations. For example green shorts with pink tshirt or pink shorts with purple tshirt or yellow dress with blue hoodie and I hardly ever wear neutral colours unless it’s black leggings. The colours I wear in the summer are usually soft colours like baby blue, light green, baby pink, lilac, yellow. But colours I wear in the winter are darker colours like navy, dark red, dark green. As well as my clothes having to look playful but matching, they also have to feel comfortable. For example in the summer I like flowy long dresses, tshirt/jumper dresses, shorts and tshirt, and in winter mainly joggers and jumpers (unless I’m going out my house that’s not joggers appropriate, like to a restaurant or something then I’ll wear black leggings and nice jumper maybe with necklace and lace boots. But I also have a lot of sexy pieces that I bought but never worn bc I don’t have any close friends to go out to parties or nice places like that but I really wanna wear my more sexy pieces at some point bc they’re just sitting in my wardrobe unworn, like little black dresses and black tops that show skin with black skirt. I also want to buy a red dress at some point bc I feel like it would look really good on me, also I think I have elements of feminine and natural notes. Also this is gonna sound weird but I have a “sheep” outfit which is basically green joggers and white fleece with sheep slipper socks that have green background on them. Also if I have blue shorts with hints of white and red on them then I might pair it with red top with hints of blue and white and shoes that are white with hints of red/blue etc, lol sorry for the long comment
I think for me, the 2 I most identified with were creative and feminine. Those 100% define my style and me. I love the idea of pulling from the other personalities, but this definitely made it click why I choose to make the items I do!

Yep that one is me, lost in a book or painting, and basing a clothing style on a painting. Often a specific painting generation, like expressionism, surrealism, magical realism, or recently Japonisme. Also inspired a bit by alternative rock like post punk. Also being a musician and painter as well, whether I think I can stand for a long time in it without pain plays a roll.

I'm late watching this video but I'm definitely creative dramatic. At first I thought I was creative feminine but I'm not girly at all. Signatures are Natural and Creative, maybe a little bit of Dramatic. I wear basically nothing but graphic t-shirts and leggings or bike shorts, hoodies, fun socks, and sneakers. Maybe the occasional jean jacket. I like to put as many colors and patterns in one outfit as I can though, and I like the colors to be as vibrant as possible. If I accessorize, it tends to be pretty weirdly, like wearing the plastic thingies from tissue boxes as bracelets, or straight-up going out in a witch hat. I also like some good ol' fingerless gloves though. For some time I've also been wanting to try wearing colorful patterned tights underneath a pair of shorts, haven't gotten to do so yet. I'm also really drawn to suits. But like, I want those also to have Bright Colors and Patterns and/or Sparkles. I've never gotten to wear anything like that, but it would be AWESOME. I do have a (not exactly suit) jacket covered in rainbow sequins that I wore to prom though. Over a flowery button-up shirt, leggings, glitter sneakers (which were new and really stiff so I spent half the night shoeless), a messy ponytail, and a plastic eyemask that looked like Pinkie Pie's face. Yeah it was pretty great. I also really really like the concept of mixing formal and casual styles. Like, a suit vest on top of a long-sleeves colorful patterned t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows. Or a rainbow hoodie (or other kind of sweater) worn over a (possibly patterned?) button-up shirt. Haven't gotten to wear anything like that either, but again, would be cool as heck.
I think my style is a combination of Feminine, classic & creative. However, I can relate to some of the characteristics of the elegant style even though I don't dress in that manner.
My top 3 are: Classic with a score of 10 (i love the Burberry plaid, Ralp Lauren, and conveying class through clothing), natural with a score of 8 and elegant with a score of 7. My lowest was dramatic as I try to keep it lowkey
So based on the types before the explanation, I assumed Elegant and Dramatic mix (as I am a Soft Dramatic Kibbie body type) but I ended up with Classic as the main one, with Elegant and Feminine supporting it. I do know I use Creative, though, quite often to add spice to my outfits. Usually through contrast. An example would be I was wearing a matching workout set once. Black with gold star and moon details. But then was wearing an oversized black leather jacket with silver star studs in the collar. I kinda threw the jacket on without thinking cause it was fall time, so getting cool in the late afternoons. When I passed by the mirrors to leave after my workout I kinda stopped cause the outfit looked *fire* . I tend to like adding dainty details or tough elements (leather, chains) to my outfits. I'm slowly getting more cohesive, I think (I hope...)

By your test I’m classic and creative. I have a pink polo trench coat in my closet. My style is definitely eclectic but still wearable. I very much take style cues from my favorite shows!

This was great! It was so helpful to have all the differences and nuances laid out. My results showed I'm very much a creative natural with feminine touches. Which nailed my entire approach and philosophy to my style. Sometimes I like mixing in dramatic and/or sexy elements depending on my mood. Elegant, rarely. Classic, never. :P
I appreciate that you mention the overlap and blending of styles at the beginning and end of the video, because I like all the things.! 😜 But seriously there is so much to pull from each style type. Sexy is probably the most out of my comfort zone but I do love the look of a corset over a flowy blouse or a tissue thin turtleneck. So maybe classic with a dash of sexy?
I love hearing about the different style types. But I have no idea which ones I belong to because I see myself in almost every category except the sexy one. My personality type fits well with Classic and Creative. Aesthetically I’m all over the place. And I hang on to special pieces forever (usually vintage) even if they no longer fit.

My main one is definitely creative!! a close second is natural, and then usually I have a touch of sexy, I have been known to dabble in feminine as well :) I always tried so hard to be classic but its just not me at all
Dramatic seems to be my number one and then I kind of lean one way or the other depending on the time of year, in Spring and Summer I lean to Feminine but in the Winter I go straight to Natural because I cant be bothered to sacrifice comfort when it's that cold LOL

I'm a creative but also elegant. My room has my go to color palette due to my design background but it's a bit of an organized mess 😂. Natural is me on the weekends or at home.
This is amazing. The ones that pop out the most for me were classic and elegant, with tiny hints of sexy ('cause I like open back tops), feminine and natural.
Classic up front with creative and feminine secondary and then dabbling with elegant and sexy with dramatic and natural being last in that order. But like you say depends on the scenario a lot of my dress sense is things like a preppy thrifted Ralph Lauren cable knit jumper or collegiate varsity cardigan- in a vivid colour like emerald green or royal blue- tucked into fitted trousers and chinos with pleats that come in at my waist. I like things that signify preppy imagery and values in a gentlemanly classic shape but with colours and ideas more closely associated with feminine. And when it’s summer it veers more creative loose linens it’s very starving artist and the most dramatic thing I do is I’ll either flip between wearing white off white and beige and brown or saturated rich colours but never black and rarely ever grey. But the big creative element is most of my style cues come from fiction- Howl Pendragon is a style icon for me as well as Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl and fairy tales etc I describe my dress sense as “a low budget episode of gossip girl taking place on the set of a music video for The Killers animated by Studio Ghibli” so a wannabe millionaire with a heart of gold playboy who is also a cartoon wizard musician.
I’m a Classic Style, but I wear mostly skirts and dresses because they are so comfortable. I’m not a fan of jeans at all, nor athletic wear, which are the two things most people wear where live, the San Francisco area. I’m 63 and I eventually decided that blending in is not important to me.
My Main is elegant and the rest are just supplementary. I always pick elegant and classic (Timeless) pieces that are sexy and dramatic, makes sense. Thank you for the confirmation.

Can you be a 60 / 40 mix of natural and dramatic ? I feel like that’s where I’m at with touches of feminine mixed in 😂 the more confident and energetic I’m feeling, the more dramatic my fashion tends to sway. When I need to take a step back, the natural part comes out more. Very interesting!

For some time I've also been wanting to try wearing colorful patterned tights underneath a pair of shorts, haven't gotten to do so yet.
I'm also really drawn to suits. But like, I want those also to have Bright Colors and Patterns and/or Sparkles. I've never gotten to wear anything like that, but it would be AWESOME.
I do have a (not exactly suit) jacket covered in rainbow sequins that I wore to prom though. Over a flowery button-up shirt, leggings, glitter sneakers (which were new and really stiff so I spent half the night shoeless), a messy ponytail, and a plastic eyemask that looked like Pinkie Pie's face. Yeah it was pretty great.
I also really really like the concept of mixing formal and casual styles. Like, a suit vest on top of a long-sleeves colorful patterned t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows. Or a rainbow hoodie (or other kind of sweater) worn over a (possibly patterned?) button-up shirt. Haven't gotten to wear anything like that either, but again, would be cool as heck.
I think my style is a combination of Feminine, classic & creative. However, I can relate to some of the characteristics of the elegant style even though I don't dress in that manner.

My top 3 are: Classic with a score of 10 (i love the Burberry plaid, Ralp Lauren, and conveying class through clothing), natural with a score of 8 and elegant with a score of 7. My lowest was dramatic as I try to keep it lowkey
So based on the types before the explanation, I assumed Elegant and Dramatic mix (as I am a Soft Dramatic Kibbie body type) but I ended up with Classic as the main one, with Elegant and Feminine supporting it. I do know I use Creative, though, quite often to add spice to my outfits. Usually through contrast. An example would be I was wearing a matching workout set once. Black with gold star and moon details. But then was wearing an oversized black leather jacket with silver star studs in the collar. I kinda threw the jacket on without thinking cause it was fall time, so getting cool in the late afternoons. When I passed by the mirrors to leave after my workout I kinda stopped cause the outfit looked *fire* . I tend to like adding dainty details or tough elements (leather, chains) to my outfits.
I'm slowly getting more cohesive, I think (I hope...)

By your test I’m classic and creative. I have a pink polo trench coat in my closet. My style is definitely eclectic but still wearable. I very much take style cues from my favorite shows!

This was great! It was so helpful to have all the differences and nuances laid out. My results showed I'm very much a creative natural with feminine touches. Which nailed my entire approach and philosophy to my style. Sometimes I like mixing in dramatic and/or sexy elements depending on my mood. Elegant, rarely. Classic, never. :P
I appreciate that you mention the overlap and blending of styles at the beginning and end of the video, because I like all the things.! 😜 But seriously there is so much to pull from each style type. Sexy is probably the most out of my comfort zone but I do love the look of a corset over a flowy blouse or a tissue thin turtleneck. So maybe classic with a dash of sexy?
I love hearing about the different style types. But I have no idea which ones I belong to because I see myself in almost every category except the sexy one. My personality type fits well with Classic and Creative. Aesthetically I’m all over the place. And I hang on to special pieces forever (usually vintage) even if they no longer fit.

Thank you for this video! I think Natural is definitely the one I like and I see myself wearing and depending on the mood, Feminine, Dramatic and Elegant can play a part, right now I think I lean more Feminine since the items you listed as essential were the ones I liked the most.
My main one is definitely creative!! a close second is natural, and then usually I have a touch of sexy, I have been known to dabble in feminine as well :) I always tried so hard to be classic but its just not me at all

Dramatic seems to be my number one and then I kind of lean one way or the other depending on the time of year, in Spring and Summer I lean to Feminine but in the Winter I go straight to Natural because I cant be bothered to sacrifice comfort when it's that cold LOL

This is amazing. The ones that pop out the most for me were classic and elegant, with tiny hints of sexy ('cause I like open back tops), feminine and natural.
Classic up front with creative and feminine secondary and then dabbling with elegant and sexy with dramatic and natural being last in that order. But like you say depends on the scenario a lot of my dress sense is things like a preppy thrifted Ralph Lauren cable knit jumper or collegiate varsity cardigan- in a vivid colour like emerald green or royal blue- tucked into fitted trousers and chinos with pleats that come in at my waist. I like things that signify preppy imagery and values in a gentlemanly classic shape but with colours and ideas more closely associated with feminine. And when it’s summer it veers more creative loose linens it’s very starving artist and the most dramatic thing I do is I’ll either flip between wearing white off white and beige and brown or saturated rich colours but never black and rarely ever grey. But the big creative element is most of my style cues come from fiction- Howl Pendragon is a style icon for me as well as Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl and fairy tales etc
I describe my dress sense as “a low budget episode of gossip girl taking place on the set of a music video for The Killers animated by Studio Ghibli” so a wannabe millionaire with a heart of gold playboy who is also a cartoon wizard musician.
I’m a Classic Style, but I wear mostly skirts and dresses because they are so comfortable. I’m not a fan of jeans at all, nor athletic wear, which are the two things most people wear where live, the San Francisco area. I’m 63 and I eventually decided that blending in is not important to me.

Can you be a 60 / 40 mix of natural and dramatic ? I feel like that’s where I’m at with touches of feminine mixed in 😂 the more confident and energetic I’m feeling, the more dramatic my fashion tends to sway. When I need to take a step back, the natural part comes out more. Very interesting!
