- In this webinar, we looked at the iLogic Automation for Drawings. By checkign out this webinar recording you'll learn what functionality is available straight out of the box and how to extend the functions as well as techniques around this.
You will also learn how to:
- use the standard iLogic snippets to automate a drawing
- interrogate a model from a drawing to automate aspects of the sheet
- use the API samples to create more advanced functions
- find out if something is possible in Inventor Automation Наука
could you also use iLogic to link a call out to an attribute of a part in this way?
Thanks for the informative video, I have one question I use patterns for one part in assembly(used rows & columns) how can I automate the dimensions of that part in drawing? I cant use named geometry because the pattern row & column count changes as per user input.
Do you regularly hold webinars as I'm interested in ilogic and the benefits that it can have.
Where is the video you referenced at 4:12
Hi there! Thank you for this rather informative webinar.
As a novice at iLogic I have managed to run some VERY basic rules to suppress features and that works fine. However utilising the API, I am simply trying to generate a code that adds leader annotations set to parameters with not success!
When I run it I get an error that states as follows: "Public member 'Sheet on type '_DocumentClass' not found." Any idea what could be the cause of this?
Thanks.
It's not the easiest thing to do with one line of an error message, due to the nature of iLogic you kind of have to look at their code to see where it's going wrong. It sounds like they’ve declared something incorrectly, but without seeing the code it’s impossible to diagnose.
There are a lot of things to consider such as which version of inventor they are using. Different versions handle code in different ways which won’t help.
Where can we download the code from that you use?
Hi, please send us an email to support@symetri.se for assistance to this question. Anette, Symetri
I only understand 5 minutes on the video, but I feel this video is awesome. My difficulty is language, quite sad
Thanks for your feedback, happy you found it useful. Have you tried setting the playback speed down? This could perhaps help you if you find the speaking too fast. Anette, Symetri
