I recently found out Better ToS Wiki, and I've noticed there are roles like Handler, Beguiler, and Kidnapper. Do you have any plans for those in the future?
Beguiler was bad and complicated , Kidnapper Conjurer does the same thing , and Handler was there to address the absence of Trapper during BTOS1. No plans for any of them to come back
@@leemarcus6123 It only had 1 exe (ok for maf jailor ig), 2 kidnaps (horrible since the point was to impersonate real jailor) and that it was useless except as a +1 kill for Maf, unless you had TT jailor (odds are less than 1%) you were basically dead since jailor ALSO has prio over target, and IF a jailor actually existed they usually revealed themselves and the town would know that its a kidnapper exe (even though the death message is identical). They would start killing all TP and Spy claims (since Spy was in same result as KP and roles like Doctor and Handler were lazy claims for evils). Consort could handle disruption and roleblocking better That and TT Jailor is simply superior, 3 kills and infinite jails did better than KP. In contrast, Agent was just LO+Tracker, making it impossible for TT LO or TT Tracker to be superior to it. Beguiler was less of a problem since it had two abilities: Hide and Redirect. Hide chose the target to be redirected FROM, and Redirect was the second target you picked to send visitors to. Hide had priority over Transport and Transport over Redirect. Those things and Control, Redirect, and Roleblock Immunity helped it be comparable to Transporter even if it had 3 charges and the Hide target had to be Mafia. In addition, Hide was Astral, and you could only be seen visiting the Redirect target, and actual double visitors were rare back then in TOS1 (only Transporter and Disguiser in TOS1 along with Beguiler in BToS1, but TOS2 has Coroner and Seer as well as War; Witch, Necromancer and Retributionist cannot be counted as they do not actually visit their second target)
Egotist is pretty much a Neutral Pariah townie, picked like how a TT is picked. They have the same win condition as Neutral Pariah (they win with any evil, leaves town when all town dies). However there's currently a bug where if you "misfire" as a Egotist (e.x: Executing a townie, Prosecuting a townie) then you'll be punished as if you are a townie (this is unintentional and should be fixed soon)
It replaces SC and needs charges in order to transform to Death. You set the curses on 2 players and if they vote guilty during the day you get 2/6 needed charges. Also you cant keep the curses on the same players

When cursed players vote guilty at any time, you get a charge (once per player per day, so 2 per day at most), at 6 charges you transform into death. If cursed player visits someone, their target will appear as warlock to TIs, if cursed player stays home they themself will appear as warlock.

Agent was OK though, KP was terrible and worst BTOS role ever.

What does the adrenaline do for the Egotist?
It speeds up the day timers based on the percentage. So 120% adrenaline means the day timers count down 20% faster than normal, and so on.

SC is still in the game, though. It’s just mutually exclusive with Warlock. So no double Death
