I have this laptop, but it is the Intel Core i7-1165G7 version. 16gb DDR4 RAM, 1 tb nvme ssd. I have some games installed on it, mostly older titles and they work well when I am offline or am travelling somewhere where I can not utilize my internet connection. For example Divinity Original Sin 2, a 2017 rpg made by Larian Games runs at ultra about 30fps 1080p. I have alot older games also, gaming to me is NOT about always playing the latest titles, that would be plain ridiculous, since there are an abundance of GOOD older titles. I use the Xbox Gaming Pass Ultimate, which gives me access to Microsoft cloud gaming. I have a fast 4g and 5g internet connection, so Gaming Pass is a perfect choice for me, saves me ALOT of money and offers hundreds of games. 1080p gaming is enough on this laptop and enough for me. 12.99 a month, one can _not_ get anything decent for that money hardwarewise. Just remember that one needs a good internet connection for the Xbox Game Pass to work without stuttering and without other connection issues. The OLED display is gorgeous (really important, since I play games, do photo editing and watch movies), the laptop build quality is excellent, the Wi-Fi 6 is fast, the keyboard is good, the laptop is very light and battery life is excellent when watching movies or writing etc. The bottom line: This is a quality laptop and with cloud services like the Xbox Gaming Pass one can enjoy games to ones hearts content. One does NOT need expensive rigs just to be able to game.
@@yvonnebong3371 I have not tested with long writing sessions, but I have tested it with watching a lot of video and typically with my brightness and battery settings have gotten even 8-9 hours out of it. I think you can safely expect same or even more with writing. Just have it on battery saving mode in Windows, do not use keyboard backlighting when it is not dark, adjust screen brightnes etc. to maximize battery usage. It all comes down to fine tuning the laptop with these small tweaks. Also: remember to have MyAsus software installed, it has a lot of good settings for the OLED display and some battery settings.
No words more true man. I got an intel i5-1135g7 with the intel iris xe integrated graphics. Even with slower speed 8gb ram I can play games if I work with the registry files. I mostly removed lots of the Microsoft spyware/info trackers.

Do you have any software that helped you achieve these FPS cuz I have the same processor, iGPU and 20GB of RAM and I could never achieve 1080p 50+- FPS on GTA V nor Online
Problem is on your 20GB RAM, which most likely from a 4GB + 16GB. Since Iris Xe needs dual channel to perform well. You only have 4GB + 4GB of ram can be running on dual channel mode. Whenever there is any memory requests outside of that range, it would be much slower. If your laptop can let you unplug the 4GB, than consider adding another 16GB so that they can pair up. It would be much better.
ATTENTION do not buy any laptop with this chip that does not have a good cooling solution he is getting ony about 60 percent of this igpus performance becuase it is capped at around 17 watts this gpu can go up to 28 so its heavily capped
I have the same config just one stick of ram. I tried running csgo, it gets stuck for 1-2 seconds and then comes back smooth then keeps repeating this. Can you tell me whats wrong?
If you take a look at 16:50 in this video you can see the Fifa 22 graphics menu. That's a menu that you can open directly after opening fifa 22 in origin. There you've got plenty of graphics options. Also setting an fps limit but also free the fps to play at an umlimited fps rate.

hi dude i got a big question for u ! i have the same pc which i have bought just a couple of months ago but with 8gb ram . its kinda ok to open the games without streaming but when i try to stream with twitch studio or obs labs etc my system requirements doesnt seem to support it i mean i got thortllenecked or bottlenecked (sorry for my words my tech jargon is not so deep). also another problem is got the same issue when i try to play games vhile my opera gx browser is open ( espicially with more then 50 tabs most of which are asleep with the help of some plugin).. so here comes my big question !!: Do u think its because of my ram is 8 gb but not 16 gb ! or is it a problem of my cpu isnt good enough to deal with either Twitch stuido /obs labs while the games are open etc? Have a look at the CPU temperature at 31:10. It's barely exceeding 65°C. That's super cool for a mobile chip while being under heavy 3d usage. There was no overheating so also no additional cooler necessary.
Finally bought a laptop with the same specs, a hp pavilion 14-dv1041nf (i5 1135g7, Iris Xe, 16Go Ram, SSD), but I don't got the same perf in game. Have the same specs as you only 8gb ram, but the iris xe performance was absolute trash. Turns out I had drivers from october 2021, probably manufacturers too. Really hope updating to newest will fix the problem...

you wont have any temprature problem w this as its intregrated graphic, thus power consumption is really low (less than 25w) compared to gaming laptop w dedicated graphic, which can consume up to 200watts

I play it with same cpu at 1080p 100% scale everyday. Around 55-60fps at low to medium setting. No overheated.

you wont have any temprature problem w this as its intregrated graphic, thus power consumption is really low (less than 25w) compared to gaming laptop w dedicated graphic, which can consume up to 200watts

There's no point in testing that game. It's going to run perfectly fine with 120fps+ if you adjust your graphics settings
