Thank you so much for posting this. My daughter will be a Sophomore coming from Vanstory this year to Suites next year. Suites rooms are nicer but less storage cabinet space. I love the portable shoe rack idea.
You are so welcome! And yes, Suites is very comfortable and a great living area. I got the shoe rack from Home Depot.

I got it from Home Depot online.
Im trying to attend A&T! And from STL! What's it like being an out-of-state freshman what's your advice what do you think people would have told you before you got to A&T
Nala TheLion Hello! I’m not an out of state student. I’m from North Carolina. However, my roommate is. I can tell you it’s a big adjustment for her, but as time goes by, it became easier and easier! Advice I would give is to always be on time to class, be open to try new things, and always stay alert on what’s happening around campus and take advantage of everything there’s to offer!

My shoe rack was purchased from Home Depot and my jewelry organizer was purchased from Dollar General. No problem!

How did yo get into Suites?? Im going to be a freshman next semester and really trying to get into there lol
I did all of my housing and paid everything as soon as everything opened for me to do so and I got lucky! However, all freshman will be on the southside for their freshman year this year, so more than likely you will not be able to get into Suites.
Southside dorms consist of Barbee, Vanstory, Morrison, and Morrow Hall. Very close to the Southside you also have Curtis Hall and Holland Hall.

I’m an incoming freshman at A&T! I am considering living in a double suite. Where are the bathrooms? How are are they set up?
The bathrooms are connected to another dorm room where the 4 of you (you and your roommate + 2 other girls in their room) will share bathroom that consists of 2 showers and one toilet.
