Actually Adam. As someone who has lived in several haunted houses, including one that some people could not bear to enter & that I was attacked in I think you are pretty brave doing this. You might be wise to cleanse yourself before going home. Waft some Sage smoke over yourself & your transport, or incense, or at least brush yourself off & maybe visualise healing light flowing around you, washing anything unwanted away. All the best.

Praying for protection from Jesus is the best, but I wouldn't go in at all. Why risk attachment and bringing something home with you? There really are evil spirits and if you're not a Christian than you REALLY shouldn't go in.

Actually, yes, we do have houses like these in America, mostly in the eastern part of the country in the 13 original colonies. I'm also in Virginia, but am originally from California. Until I moved here in 1989, I had no idea these old 1700s and 1800s houses existed, but there are plenty of them. Many are preserved into museums, wedding venues, or B and Bs, but some are abandoned.

I lived in a old victorian house. Haunted by many but we found peace with them. The house was originally built by P.T. Barnum for his wife and children. It was built in 1736 and still stands strong. It is the most beautiful house I have ever lived in and the haunting never bothered us. Small children that died of influenza and one who fell from the balcony. There was also a older woman, a servant or nanny, she kept tract of the children who were there when I was. Not one spirit gave us trouble, the kids liked to move stuff around though.

I live in Canada and my house was built in 1879 (Victorian era). So sad to see homes become like this one. You were right about having big homes but not having money to fix them so you make due.
I think what would help is if you leave the EMF down. Let them come to it. You’re a stranger in their home asking for them to interact but also they might not want to get close to you.

Right I’ve finished my ironing, swept 🧹 the kitchen floor, washing on the line, and bedroom cleaned. Cup of tea, a couple of Rich Tea biscuits, and you Mark. I think it was an older gentleman for some reason. They normally make the bed and settee higher as when you have a disability it’s easier for you to get up, than if the bed and settee is quite low. He/she obviously couldn’t manage the stairs in the end and had to sleep downstairs. What an arse to knock the front door in, what is wrong with these people? Do you know how long his home has been vacant? It’d be lovely renovated and brought back to life.

When the the Necrophonic was introduced, the atmosphere turned into a very intense atmosphere. The “children” had been told to look out and run. Fear predominated. Interesting that Adam, who is a “sensitive” cut the session short and left. I believe he sensed something quite negative and chose to withdrawal promptly.

You're right about America not having too many existing abandoned Victorian homes. We do have some...but so much was destroyed by 1865. Some of our buildings did survive and they are the sturdiest of the pre-civil war structures. In Richmond Virginia I lived in a restoration row house that was actually 6 apartments. Solid as a rock! America is still an infant, though, compared to almost any other country on the planet. 😊 The UK and all of Europe seem to have much older homes and estates in general.

Hi Adam, thanks for an amazing experience. I am speechless. It looks like something out of an Agatha Christie novel. The sudden smell of smoke in the room could be due to the deceased's old habits of smoking. Maybe there hadn't been a fire. Maybe the person had spent a lot of time cooking in the kitchen. The smell of the smoke is incredible. I once had a vivid dream of a relative of mine who had passed away. And in my dream I smelt her peculiar smell of when she had had an untreated infection. I had forgotten about that smell until I smelt it in my dream. I woke up immediately knowing she was with me in my bedroom. So your smelling smoke is very vivid. The voices were amazing. It was once a beautiful home and I believe 100% that the house is haunted. It's not a happy home. There are some restless spirits there. Thanks a million for an incredible experience. I'm newer to your channel so I'm catching up on your videos when ever I can I really enjoy them. The house in this video is pretty. Your right when you said people in the us probably don't see house like this. And I love how you have respect for things in the places you visit like when you picked up them photos off the floor so no one would walk over them.

What a great video! From Wyoming, USA.
Most of our Victorian houses are on the east, west coasts, southern & biger cities. They are very different.
We lived in a home in Denver, CO, US; for many years built in 1898. There were always smells of cigarette smoke and old time parfume. We don't smoke. Our house was one of the first built on our block.
Thank you always for the great videos & take care, be safe!

Hi Adam! Loved this home but the bedrooms seem on the small side. Heard the noise upstairs. I didn’t see a kitchen. Big house but small rooms. Didn’t like the butcher room. When you said “Come towards me and touch me on my shoulder “ Nope I would not have said that. If something would have touched my shoulder I would have crapped myself! Great video again Adam! Thank you for sharing!

I’ve only recently discovered your channel and I’m loving it. Watched loads in the last two days and I keep getting this thought as you walk into these ole buildings with a past, that scene from Titanic as the old sunken ship suddenly comes to life with colour and transformed back to its original glory. So sad to see these past lives just forgotten

I am now 64 when I was a little girl we lived on a farm we had a enormous pantry about the same size as the room with hooks I remember rolls of bacon curing from the hooks you took it down and cut the green ends off. We also had a big slab of slate under the window for butchering with a hole in it so you could throw all the bits you didn't want into a bucket

Thank you for sharing. Homes like this do still exist in America. They are hard to come by. Often kept in the family for generations. I grew up on a large tobacco farm our family home along w/ my great grandmother that lived to be 112 born 1886. My oldest best friend and my grandparents. I am fortunate enough to also have friends that lived in older homes like this. Yes that is not the norm. I am able to look back and appericate what we do have, and was able to experience. Yes most homes today are newer or new. Not a lot of people have experienced such experiences something I took for granted as a child.

I moved to where I live now in 1990 to take care of my old very senile Grandmother. She died in the house in 2002, while she was alive my Grandfather, who committed suicide in the house, roamed about so much, no one would stay in here alone, some even in daytime. And Uncle died in here and a farm worker who lived on the property also died on the property. Doors would slam, things moved all over, you would often hear my GPa’s easy chair foot rest folding up. I even saw the shadow of my GPa’s shoes under the space at the bottom of my bedroom door one night because the light was on in the hallway. That was the only time I got scared, mostly because I was afraid it was a live human.and I was alone. Anyone and everyone who came to visit experienced something and if you happened to not be a very nice person, ( like a man I dated for a short period)after both Grandparents had died, it could get VERY interesting. A nurse I worked with would stay here when she was on shift and her father came to her in her sleep the first night she stayed here. When her Dad died she was devastated and for years she had prayed that he would contact her, she wasn’t aware of the history or events of my house. After my Grandmother died the events slacked because I think my Grandparents were together again and my grandfather was at peace. But, even today I hear them. There is also a big white bird that lands in the yard when someone in the family dies. My Dad use to stay out here real often in a lodge he built for the family and he also built a paddle wheel houseboat. I’ve seen him out of the corner of my eye cross from the lodge to the barn where he use to tinker. After my Mom died I often smelled and felt her when working in my courtyard gardens, where in life she often worked her green thumb to help me out. I think some places just allow for spirits to come through and I definitely think a person has to be open to receive. I worked in medicine for over 50 years, was with many people when they died, there is something else. Although all of the “happenings” here mostly came from good, in the early 1980’s me and a friend of mine went into and old abandoned house out in the country and immediately I was so scared I started crying. Some places are evil or what’s in them is evil, I wouldn’t ever stay for even a little while.

They get bought by developers and leveled. My gram's friend had a gorgeous 1910s-1920s Tudor revival and after she passed, developers bought it, leveled it and put some ugly-arse modern monstrosity in its place. Rubbish, I tell you.
