It was at this moment that I confirmed they were non-binary because of course, it'd usually the non-binaries that go that sass and dArLinGS (looking at Rebooted Double Trouble)
I was doing some research on peng because there one of my favorite characters and it turns out they turn good after the journey to the west and I hope they turn good in the next season
Am talking about the original story what macaque was, of course there has been many where he was imported as more than he was ducted and in many different ways. As so many shows or movies has shown us already, I am aware. Just like transformers or ninja turtles and more…it’s not new but not necessarily mean everything is canon, the originals are well the originals. Or it can just be other universes and then we can just say it does ent matter, but then what would be the point😀 that’s how most things are these days….which kinda suck., either ok or just bad.(sometimes great) I just wanted to put out there
Ngl i feel like Peng was the snart ine saying to kill/attack MK and sun wukong while they could like WDYM IT AIN'T HIS FIGHT AZURE?? BRO WAS THE ONE WHO DEFEATED YOU 😭😭
Well, not sure which version of the mythology they're going to follow, but Nezha was a bit of a superpowered child even when he first came out. His mother, Lady Yin was pregnant for three years if I'm not mistaken, and birthed a ball of flesh that Li Jing cut in half to reveal toddler aged Nezha, who has fire powers and is extremely strong. He was also described as disobedient and short-tempered. His most famous myth was how he killed Ao Bing, the dragon prince, third son of East Sea Dragon King Ao Guang. There's a lot of variations to the reason, some make Nezha be the bad one, (he was washing his sash in the East Sea, causing an earthquake down there, Ao Guang sent up his general, who Nezha killed, and then Ao Bing, who Nezha also killed), while others depict him as a hero (Nezha saves some children who Ao Bing was going to eat). Then there are also some variation that has him and Ao Bing being friends before they battle and Ao Bing dies. In result of this, Ao Guang was pissed, and threatened to attack the town Nezha was living in, Li Jing was also pissed, in some stories he was going to kill Nezha to satisfy Ao Guang, in some stories he was going to end himself, but all ends with Nezha sacrificing his own life instead. Lady Yin built a temple for him, that was then burnt down by Li Jing, which causes the next arc of Nezha wanting his father dead. Nezha was later brought back to life by his teacher, Taiyi Zhenren, who used lotus roots to construct a human body for his soul, hence his title Third Lotus Prince. The next few conflicts are just him wanting to take Li Jing's life, pretty sure he killed Muzha, his brother here too, though I'm not particularly sure, I'm just paraphrasing something I read a long time ago. Li Jing, who ran underground and tried to give up on his life (cuz he's mortal, and Nezha is an immortal who's like 10 times stronger now) only survived cuz someone (I can't remember who) gave him the Pagoda, that he used to contain Nezha and make him submit to him, and finally ending Nezha's wrath. He seems more calmed down now in LMK, but we did see a callback to Nezha killing Ao Bing in the scroll, so guess we'll just see what route they'll take with Nezha's backstory.
I'm glad people are being respectful of Peng's gender. It makes me happy that there are good people in this fandom who respect everyone regardless of who they are. Even if they aren't technically good people. Also, for those of you who are worried that they won't come back, I wanna remind you that Monkie Kid doesn't have an official date of when the show will stop airing. So I'm sure that they'll come back. 💛🤍💜🖤
4:45 “Yellow Tusk, how are we travelling darling?” Me: *my dumbass brain shipping Yellow tusk and Peng even tho they’re brothers 😭😭😭 ya’ll can attack me btw*
Howdy!! Sorry to get all 'erm actually' two months later, but they aren't actual brothers(obviously) haha Typically, being in a 'brotherhood' just means that you are deeply bonded, or are people that you swear your life to. A lot of the time in chinese media, a 'sworn brotherhood' is used as an allegory for a homosexual relationship because it sadly could not be shown a lot of the time! However, since I am not a writer for the show, nor have I written the original JTTW, I cannot say for certain that this is what they intended. However, there is a lot of evidence that allows you to draw your own conclusions :D So I say to just have fun with it lol
4:45 "How are we traveling, darling~" I love them lol

Yeah but also macaque was only an imposter in the journey to the west. And that was it, so still not sure.
@@susy_is_here5816and macaque only appears in one character and dies
Yeah but he appeared in a kids show if you search monkey king 2009 the show will appear and macaque was part of it and seen as a friend of wukong

The fact that Azure and Yellowtusk still refer to Peng as Brother makes me wonder if they are aware of Peng's gender.
