Just an information for those who doesn't know yet, but this is a special comeback album. Meaning, special comebacks normally doesn't have the impact normal albums/comebacks have. A lot of Buddies and non-Buddies alike noticed the toned down choreography, but be aware that Gfriend did this because it's a special comeback and instead of doing their usual intense choreo, they want people to follow and dance along to this song, thus an easier, cuter dance steps. In my opinion, although it looks easy, once you dance this song in a group, it's hard to make it look neat and synchronized, so i still think Gfriend did a great job of making the dance look clean and energetically cute. I really hope it will rise. GFriend is my bias group since I entered Kpop but I'm always dissapointed by Source Music. This time they chose the wrong title like with Summer Rain. Sunny Summer may be made by a famous producer but they didn't do their job right and it's really no great song. Vacation is much better and could bring them more international fans too.

Since its a summer song, rather than having heavy beat and complicated dances, it is more about having fun with cheerful beats and easy steps that anyone can automatically dance to when they hear this song. So...rather than complaining, why dont all of us just think that Gfriend is trying a new cb concept, where this time they are trying cheerful n cute concept. This quote is actually from Shakespeare's Sonnet 43, which if you search up the meaning: From Wikipedia, "William Shakespeare's Sonnet 43 employs antithesis and paradox to highlight the speaker's yearning for his beloved and sadness in their absence" At 1:18, There is also the quote "Shall i compare thee to a summer's day? thou are more lovely and more temperate....", which this is from Shakespeare's Sonnet 18. And the meaning of this sonnet apparently is a bit hard to explain, but if you read the whole sonnet, it kinda talks about how the speaker's beloved will be eternal as long as the poem exist. (There were also Romeo and Juliet reference in the lyrics of Love Bug.) And within this MV - Talking about going somewhere at night - Similarities to TFTMN like Eunha with the fishes, and Umji with the paper plane. - Yerin being lonely - Umji fishing for Eunha - You see something drop into the drinks, and Yuju drinks it. It showed her asleep as well. And many other little things both within the lyrics and video. If you relate it to Time for the moon night, then it gets pretty dark.

Some things that I really LOVE about Sunny Summer’s MV are the Shakespeare’s sonnets in the intro and at 1:18 (Sonnet 43 and 18 respectively), the camera filter interleaving, as if it were turning into a making of (at 1:10 to 1:15 and at 1:22 to 1:30, for example), the silence film reference at 1:48 to 1:55, the cartoon comic vector smoke explosion special effects throughout the scenes, the retelling of Johannes Vermeer’s painting, “Meisje met de parel”, at 2:12 and the ending that perfectly marries the first four elements mentioned, making the MV all round and a little cinematically cute and fun

Sunny Summer may be made by a famous producer but they didn't do their job right and it's really no great song. Vacation is much better and could bring them more international fans too.

I just found out sth, it's just my opinion:
1. I think this MV are their memories, they were staying together and enjoying their summer before Eunha died in TFTMN.
2. The room which they stay in and play games are the SAME as TFTMN.
3. In TFTMN, Eunha was left alone with the goldfish in her room, notice that there was only one goldfish in TFTMN. But in contrast, there are lots of goldfish in the tank in Sunny Summer which resemble that Eunha isn't alone unlike TFTMN.
4. There were lots of shinning things shown in the MV, such as diamond, crystal, mirror, Sowon's earring, etc. But I don't really know what does that mean, or maybe I think too much, haha~
