That Kage and Akuma Raging Demon clash reminded me of Evil Ryu and Shin Akuma's intro back from SFA3. Loved it!
but this looked more cool since it showed Akuma is obviously more stronger, he caught Kage meanwhile in that intro both just clash with each other

When the taunt is so iconic it becomes the next best thing again for akuma

I remember he could combo this from Alpha 3 with his taunt with V-ism. But seeing this, really brings out more potential.

Nergigante Blanka is something I didn't know I needed until now
Despite needing to almost be kissing the opponent to hit and VS1 apparently being agreed upon to be superior, some of these combos look oddly practical for ones made up of styling on people with your ki aura.

Most of these were made in the corner. Akuma doesn't have a sufficient corner carry without v-skill 1 because he loses the combos where he has okizeme on it.

Cloudy hard to use as an anti-air. Stick with DP or better yet, back hard punch for anti-air

I strongly doubt itll be used over VS1. Losing side swaps and several Kara RD set ups is a big deal. Not to mention his psuedo parry that he can Option Select V-Reversals with
@Seymour Asses Not garbage but he's really nerfed. Imo not getting the health/stun buff would of been enough but they went crazy overboard by nerfing him as hard as they did

I wonder why Tokido is not using that taunt-like skill in his combos. It looks strong and chains really well. 🤔
VS1 is still the goat because parries and side switches and oki but like most of the new VSkills in the game, it seems this was intended to work specifically with VT2 so Im a bit surprised there werent more VT2 combos.
The fact that you can charge up the VSkill (though its quite unsafe so maybe after a knockdown) is pretty good considering VT2 is 2 bars.
Akuma's V-Trigger 2 is more effective and pull off more combos with V-Skill 2

I'm hopeful that some Akuma badass rolls up with VS2 to tournament someday, but VS1 is just so good. I could maybe see it being used in conjunction with VT2 to build hella V gauge, but...that's it?

That's just the state of gaming in general. At least this game is getting fixed. It's to the point now where developers either leave games broke or abandon them.(Fallout 76, Anthem,etc)

While these combos are cool, I don't think there is any reason to pick VS2 over 1. I thought that it could be good in guile match up but his new VS would counter this one. Maybe you can use vs2 against Sagat or Menat to get VT sooner though.

These game producers are so idiotic, this is how the game should of been on its original release. Instead they waited on its end life cycle to add what should of been money hungry thieves.
Tim G it‘s their bad and they also suffered from it. Sfv has a bad reputation since it‘s release, and it‘s their fault. It‘s not easy to change such a thing BUT they hopefully learned their lesson for street fighter 6👍🏻 I admire what champion edition is though
