Montebello Quay is my favourite Quay the view over to the "Noteable Lady" is great , I never realized there is on old river under St Michel, I love the 5th. I think ilr de Citae should be a part of the 5th, but don't say that too loudly in the wrong Arrondissmont, LOL.
haha I am not into this kind of fight :D, what I found surprising is that the île de la Cité has a small part (left) that isn't the 4th, it's part of the 1st arrondissement.
And I am glad they got rid of those tents from Montebello Quay and I cant wait for the opening of Notre Dame, it has been a long five years, The bells sounded beautiful last week, Thank you for sharing your promenade.
yes right, The restoration work is marvelous, we have seen on tv a glimps of the inside, it's much brighter that it used to be. The craftmen did an incredible work the last 5 years. I am exited to visit it again soon.
@@walkingaround-q6l Yes it is shared by the 4th and 1st, It would also be good to put the glass roofs back on the metro entrances, but that is controversial too. What about blowing up Montparnasse tower??? That one starts arguements too, lol. Of course this is all for joking purposes.
hahaha That one is hated by everyone. What's funny in Paris is that any new unusual construction is hated at first, then time pass and people start to like it. The Eiffel Tower, Parisian at that time didn't like it, Centre Pompidou, same, The Pyramide du Louvre too, but now we couldn't imagine Paris without it. And then you have this ugly giant black tower. I know that there were a project to change the outside with more greenery, but I don't know where is it now. The one thing about this tower is that you can have a nice panoramic view of Paris.
