Be vigilant people, nobody is giving you money and if they want money, hang up and call the company they claim to be from. You will get false positives but that's ok, they understand. She fell for an obvious and old scam which set off more alarms than an incel on school grounds, it was completely avoidable.
The tools of the scammer are fear and hope. Urgency is the paper they wrap them in. Fear of missing out works just as well as fear for your safety or the safety of a loved one. Hope is the noose they offer you, one inch at a time. They expect you to hang yourself with it. They rely on your shame to keep others from benefiting from your mistake.
People can throw away intuition when they feel fear and urgency. And get blinded from the big picture. The big picture here being. Empty out your bank account and hand the money to me, so I can stop other people from taking it 😂. But it is good to get stories like this out to help others to be more aware.
No, I wouldn't do that. Some, of course, I have no issue. And if I hear a 'voice' telling me it's 'god' then i will check myself into a mental institute.
Federal Government will not ask for cash, federal Officers can not show face of their badge no matter any situation. I guess ole girl life is just that boring.

The scary part is this probably isn’t the first time they’ve gotten away with scamming people like that, it’s sad.
