As someone who's been playing the isle for a little while now.... This guide is top tier. Id argue its the most useful guide out there for the isle. Very well done sir!
Nice video! Can you maybe make one where you show interesting things on the map like all the caves, secret drinkable water locations and hidden places for nesting?
I've legit never seen the road log before. How have I just walked around that the entire time? Also you'll get more familiar with landmarks, the greater variety of playable you use. The semi aquatics will get you more familiar with things like the northern dam and the plateau at the river delta and land based ones will make you more familiar with things like sanctuaries and bridges. Ptera is good for learning where all the stuff is relative to each other but only after you already recognize them.
The drinking spot in highlands isn't safe because deinos can't get you, it's safer because the shallow water makes it easier to see the large deinos. So really only safer for grown playables. If you get caught there as an adult, it's not because the deinos were outplaying you, it's because you weren't paying attention.
All of the Isle's soundtrack that I use I found on RUclips. There's a couple playlists that have a good portion of the soundtrack. I also like to use a bit of music from a game called Thrive, particularly one labeled "Thrive Ice Ocean Theme"
Thanks for putting this video together, it was perfect timing for me to find it 👍 I don’t really play a lot of games, but I regularly watch gameplay videos on here, and I recently found out about The Isle from having some videos recommended. Besides loving dinosaurs, I also really like open world games with interesting maps, so this was def up my alley. Unfortunately, it’s been hard to find a comprehensive resource for understanding the layout of this game, so when I’m watching videos and trying to wrap my head around where everything is, I’ve been pretty lost. Glad I found this video - good work!
I feel like east plains were better than the new east lake. That region was vibrant with life. Nowadays the east section of the map is practically dead. The only good thing is that is easier to find people int he rrst of the map because everyone acts like that portion doesnt exists.
You moving the camera so much and fast hurts the brain. How shall we let a view get into out head if you shake the world constantly. I stopped watching. You got a good introduction and get to the point quickly though.
The gremlin that borked the original video's audio when I exported it from Resolve has been captured and subsequently fed to a deinosuchus
Perfect XD
I want footage as proof.
46 minutes of bambaduzzling🙏

This came out just as I started playing this game. Thanks!

East Lake is the official name for the spawn point, so you're right

Great video, but I have a question?
Where did you find the music, I know it’s from the isle, but idk where to find its soundtrack?
