Hey rob, have been enjoying the 310 vids from you & a few others. The car charger is out of stock from jbl in the uk. Can I use any 12v car charger to power this or isit a specific one I need? Also, if plugged in to the car charger whilst driving around, do I get that extra decibel boost or is that only with the mains power? I'm loving this monster, i'll be grabbing a second unit for stereo sound no doubt
I believe it's only plugged in you get the boost. As for what kind of charger you need I am uncertain. But you can always get an AC adapter from an Advanced auto. That plugs into the lighter and has regular outlets on it. @@themarksmanABP To run a bigger one you may need a bigger alternator. Really depends on the wattage needs for the pb310. I just looked it up, power consumption is 80 watts so the smallest adapter will work fine. Don't wanna burn up fuses and the lighter connection by running too much through it.

@@somnathdas1630 I don't have a 310 anymore, but everything sounds good on a jbl. The newer lgs are excellent too but they're ugly and don't do stereo. Have you considered a home stereo, you'll make out so much better going that route, and there are lots of packages that are good deals and sound great. Having stereo sound makes a huge difference.
Check the weight of the 110 and see if it’s comfortable, the biggest flaw for the 310 is portability. The handle is too low and the bottom will get scratched. If you got a car then you shouldn’t worry too much about it if not then get the 110. 310 has longer battery and volume and bass from what I’ve seen. I haven’t gotten past 50% before neighbors complain
Is there any way to keep it from “going to sleep” after I haven’t used it for a while? I have it plugged in but I’m paralyzed so I can’t get up to go hit the power button and it won’t pickup Bluetooth after not using it for x amount of time 😡
I don't think so, but the bluetooth should work every time. You should write jbl and tell them to add a remote. I believe the large lg's all have them.
Good afternoon. Can you speak to playing music via USB? The format (NTFS, FAT32, exFAT), maximum USB drive (flash/jump drive) supported 64G, 256G, etc? Maximum number of folders it will access/play music from? I know they do not shuffle but hopefully that is a feature that is coming soon. Thanks!
Thanks for the question. It has a battery, lasts about 5 hours when charged at about 50 to 75% volume. But plugging it in makes it a little louder. So you can run it either way.
I can't say because I haven't tested the soundboks yet. I hear good things about them though. Maybe you can find a comparison video somewhere. let me know what you decide.

Hey bro, i bought the marshall emberton this weekend for the dash of my car & its great for a small portable bluetooth speaker. It sounds alot better in my flat when it has the room to breathe & is surprisingly loud. I bought this 310 today and tbf... it's absolutely banging, it's a seriously awesome bit of kit. I threw it in the backseat of my car & went for a drive... the sound is slamming & addictive lol That emberton though... for SQ it is awesome, check out flossy carters review
It goes down to an audible 33hz when I checked with a feequency generator. Below 33hz the tone starts to fade and its all useless excursion from then on. It doesnt in anyway not play below 45hz.

Stereo sound is always better. The 710 is much more powerful but it's mono. I'd buy a nice home theater rather than 2 party speakers. Buying two party speakers is a waste of money. Depends what you want, If you want a little more speaker and features the LG rn7 is great. The only category it loses in is style and lighting. The jbl probably goes a little lower but it's not as loud. If you need a battery the 310 is the way to go.

The party box series would be perfect if it came with a cover that has a hole for the wheels
I'm concerned that when it's flipped horizontally you won't get a proper stereo image since there are no bottom tweeters

I think you'll get around 5 hrs at 80% the LED's eat up no power, the bass is where the drains at. But yeah I'd say 4 to 5 hrs.

How long battery can last on a full volume?
Never tried full volume but I think around 5 hours.
Luckily, it’s got wheels. Without the wheels, I wouldn’t call it portable unless you are really strong.
yeah, it is quite heavy. I call it portable but not grab and go.
When walking to a beach i just hold it with a friend. Problem solved. But the wheels do come in handy!

You can get a music player with an equalizer and adjust it down. iphones have preset eq's in the music settings, so you can try some of those.

Ojala que para el proximo partybox 320 JBL haga al menos 115 decibeleos en modo bateria y 118 decibeleos en modo corriente seria el mejor parlante portatil y mas aun si implementan un subwoofer de al menos 6 o 10 pulgadas que lo necesitan mucho la serie PartyBox 100 300 y 310 esperemos que en el futuro JBL haga mejor las cosas y el 310 esta en el comienzo
Sí, no es perfecto, pero sigue siendo uno de los mejores altavoces portátiles que he probado.
@@Robsreviewsanddemos si de hecho tambien me compre el jbl partybox 310 suena muy bien solo que esperaba un poco mas de potencia pero son solo 240 watts y esta bien de todas maneras la potencia

Does it have the bass of a 10 inch subwoofer or greater?
Um depends on the woofer
A 10” subwoofer goes way lower, but a crappy woofer wont beat the jbl
