    I’M BACK with an UPDATE! My 5th application of the K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask! I've been having some issues with my curls at the top, they just don't curl/ coil like they use to. I did some research and found K18! A Biomimetic Hair Science Company that formulated a Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask. I’ve used K18 since April 2021 and transformation is just wow! Take a look!

    Pro tip, Rub k18 in your hands for 8-10seconds (turns the product into a creamy lotion like consistency) and apply on slightly more damp hair. Makes the product go further. 4 pumps is a lot for that amount of hair

    Loving your results! I find using Olaplex No 3 as a pre poo then shampoo and then K18 works best for my curly hair

    • @ItsDinorah
      @ItsDinorah  3 года назад +5

      That's the proper way to use Olaplex 3 😩 but sometimes I wouldn't shampoo it out and iI would just rinse it out (big mistake lol) and then deep condition. Thank you for sharing 🤗

      How does it work as a pre poo since you’re not washing it on clean hair? I want to try this as it’s so much easier but worried about the effectiveness of doing the 0 & 3 without shampooing. Especially considering the price of these products lol

      @@KayJay_ I would only use the Olaplex N0+ 3 on clean washed hair and No3 as a pre poo sometimes but it works even better on clean hair with no buildup

    Aloha! I ran by K18 last year and thought it was for for the untextured & unbothered. But purchased during your week #4. This is exactly what I wanted Olaplex to do. I love your hair. Thank you so much for the updates and window into your life Bronx Queen! 🤗💛👑

    I have fine Caucasian hair which is bleached blonde and it ruined my curl pattern, I’m just three uses of K18 in and I have curly hair again! I’m so amazed as I had no success with olaplex when friends did

    Thanks for sharing! Just wanted to say that your hair might be at same length but by nature your top section measures longer. The longer your hair gets the stretchier your curls get. I think you have perfect healthy hair. You might want to consider getting a layer or two as your hair keeps growing and you will noticed the difference. I speak by experience 💗 good luck with your curl journey !

    This stopped my hair breakage in its tracks. I stopped dying my gray with henna and indigo. I started dying my hair with chemical dyes and 6 short months I damaged my hair to where it eventually has to be cut off. It’s wasn’t technique or cheap dye. Just if you reach a certain age shite doesn’t work anymore. I wish I would of tried K18Hair earlier. The price gets me mad though. Olaplex was ok but not ground breaking. It didn’t stop the breakage just smoothed it out some.

    It’s been 1 year since you reviewed this product, would you still recommend it? Do you feel the same way about this product or your opinion changed? You have most beautiful hair!! Wish my hair was as thick as your, I damaged my hair and now I suffer from hair breakage after 10 years of not using hair straightening or any chemicals. I done everything, hair mask, oil and no heat but still nothing seems to help me. I really wanna buy this product and give it try.

    Right I’m convinced to get this and see if it can fix my hair - I saw that the salon I’m planning to go to does a k12 treatment, so I needed to come have a look. Hopefully I can somewhat redeem my curls, nothing else has been working :(

    Did you use conditioner in between washes?

    • @ItsDinorah
      @ItsDinorah  2 года назад +2

      Yes, I deep condition in-between washes with a shower cap under a hooded dryer. Heat helps deep conditioners penetrate coarse low porosity hair better.

    So wetting your hair to put styling products won’t ruin the treatment process?

    • @ItsDinorah
      @ItsDinorah  2 года назад +2

      No, as long as you wait the 4 minutes for the product to penetrate the hair and then proceed with styling it’s ok. It’s also a light mist, I have low porosity hair and I need the extra moisture to apply product 😊

    You have beautiful hair ! Thanks so much for the thorough review ! FYI I have fine curly Caucasian hair and I have the exact same problem - but way worse the front is basically just slightly wavy and frizzy - oh and I loved Olaplex too in the beginning used to sleep in it - but I think it actually damaged my hair in the long run - I trust your review and I am gonna order this now ! Thanks !

    Sleeping with the Ola Plex in your hair is not good. When the product dries it is no longer effective. 30 minutes to an hour is plenty under a processing cap processing.

    Would this reverse keratin damage and bring back curly hair?

    • @ItsDinorah
      @ItsDinorah  2 года назад

      I'm not sure to be honest. I would say it could assist in repairing the hair but reserving the process of keratin on the hair, probably not because keratin permanently changes the structure of the hair.

  • @mimivee5494
    @mimivee5494 2 года назад +1

    I wonder if the k18 works as long as you use it, otherwize it will suck? Like a keratin treatment…
    Some people are not happy with keratin treatments and have to cut it to get it out with time.
    That is why I am scared to try this….

    • @ItsDinorah
      @ItsDinorah  2 года назад +1

      I use it off and on and it still does a good job even after waiting weeks of month in between application.

    No 3 stops working once it is dry. You know K18 is a silicone? You should talk to a hairdresser that knows more and is not guessing at it.

      @@carolcumbie8346 lol carol baby you are the one guessing things there is no silicones in this product and silicones arent bad for your hair, you just read too much on the internet and think you are an expert. If you don't like the feeling of silicones simply don't use them, there is no need to make stuff up.

    • @thuraiasargeant4504
      @thuraiasargeant4504 2 года назад +3

      I don’t know if this is silicone but silicones are not bad for your hair. They even tend to make the hair look good and temporarily keep damage away BUT the reason we avoid silicones is because some of them can build up which requires sulfates to remove and sulfates are what are damaging if used too much

      I purchased olaplex 0&3 and I’ve done 3 treatments so far, I even put a plastic cap over it so it could work longer. I’ve seen little to no difference yet. So I’m going to try K18 after I’m finished with these products
