Honestly the lack of respect to the source material is astonishing since the original naruto story is so popular. Why not piggyback the actual power levels and character development? I swear they made naruto backtrack… naruto not being around makes ZERO SENSE. I just think it’s a lazy way to write a story. You can leave naruto and sauske involved without making it a boring story it just takes effort that these money grabbers didn’t want to put in.
