My wife and I are going to Turkey and the Maldives next month. We’ve read that you need to present a negative Covid-19 test no older than 72 hours upon arrival into the Maldives. You didn’t have to do that?
The 72 hours covid testing was just implemented Sept 10, 2020. That is also my dilema . Im going to maldives and turkey on Dec. Im planning to be tested Monday and my flight will be wednesday 1130pm if i dont receive my result before Wednesday 1130 am. Im gonna cancel my flight and. Hotel booking...Im praying that I will received my result tuesday morning or afternoon
we did not have to do that no. I hope it works out for you!
they changed it now from 72 hrs to 96hrs

The restaurants, the villa and the surroundings have too much concrete. I would prefer thatched roofs, palm trees, coral reefs right below the villas, so you can see fish, stingray and so forth swimming below your water villa while taking a bath or shower.

No, the entire plane was doing the same thing. some even had no masks with only a face shield.
@@derekcannuscio1941 again, the entire gigantic plane was very separated and people were doing the same if not any mask at all.
Flights are back ? Dammm am I in a different world. We are locked in for last 13 months in Australia, but yea we controlled Covid well

Hi Friends! Me and my wife have been waiting for this video for weeks lol, so when we finally saw it this morning, we stopped working and watched it together. So we just got back from our Cabo Trip to Riu Palace and we had so much fun, there were a ton of people there and all your advice was right on point! We want to go back already lol Like I told you before our Next Riu we want to Visit is The Maldives, and we have been super excited to watch your video. So first thing I said to my wife is babe i don't think I'm gunna be able to make that flight lol and your husband right when you got here said " man that travel was brutal" that is the only thing I am nervous about, I think i will be ok going cause I will be excited but coming back omg. Anyways..... The place OMG, beautiful is not even the right word. that place looks amazing! your room over looking the water is breath taking and its nice how they also have a jacuzzi on your little deck as well. How was the nightlife? did they have there RIU shows they usually have? what else is there to do at night?, i know its going to be a bit different cause there is no town to go into and visit the clubs or local spots. but like you guys said its a place to just go and relax and its life changing! we usually use Cheap carribean.com to book a lot of our stuff =, how did you guys book? How long is the flight? and where did you guys have your layover? we would be flying out of LAX as well. We have been to a lot of Riu hotels and our favorite so far had been the one in Aruba its not the palace its called Riu Antillas its soo nice there the whole island is one happy island and the night life is amazing. The windmill after party is insane once all the clubs close the windmill is the place to go till 7am lol we only did that once. also they have some nice casinos there and awesome food. anyways sorry for the long post we were just excited to see your video and we are def looking forward to part 2~! Thanks again Guy! you guys are the best! always

Hi again ! Thank you so much for watching! We appreciate you and your wife for taking the time and we’re glad you enjoyed it 😊 so the total flight time was 22 hours, we booked through Orbitz. 1 layover was 5 hours and the second was 9 hours, but we stayed at lounges in the airport so it wasn’t too bad. There wasn’t much nightlife because there wasn’t a lot of people and because of Covid but we created our own nightlife and would stay out on the beach drinking and dancing until the bar closed and then we took the party to our balcony in our room lol they didn’t have shows when we were there sadly but I think they normally do. They did have live singing so that was nice. We got there the day they reopened after quarantine so things were barely starting up so I’m sure when it’s busy there’s a lot more. You guys should definitely go!! It was amazing! Best trip for us so far!

I think it’s crazy disrespectful to every passenger and employee that you disregarded the mask mandates. And even when you wore them you had your nose out the entire time... literally defeating the entire purpose. Every other passenger managed to wear their mask, but y’all are exempt?? Like have some consideration for others. We’re in a pandemic, I’m not going to say you can’t travel but y’all are refusing to do it safely? It’s just so entitled, it makes me sick.
Thank you so much for your words! We must of forgotten to record almost every other passenger doing the exact same thing! Im glad a 25 minute video helped you decide we didn't travel to the Maldives safely! But if you must know, it sounds like you haven't been on a Qatar airways flight during the pandemic, we followed all protocols. Anytime we got up we had the mask the way it was needed or any other regulations necessary were followed. Thank for your support :)

No there’s no test required. And before you leave the resort to go back home you have to see the doctor for a temperature check up and to ask you if you have any questions and they give a form with the doctor’s signature and you’re good to go !
