These are very basic but effective poses when you are struggling with posing on location. I recommend you memorize at least 5 of them. What also helps is practicing in the mirror yourself. It will help you understand the direction you will need to give the model when asking them to pose 👍 Hope this helped
Manny Ortiz RUclips comment or public place is the only place I can reach you. I did commented one of your videos since I couldn’t reach you at your email. Of course we had a few back and forward regarding tutorial that I purchased from you. In reply to that comment you asked me to contact you thru email and I did forward all the conversation that we had on email so that you remember what’s going on. Again you didn’t reply anymore. I just need to know how can I re-download the tutorial without paying again? I provided you my purchased receipt thru email. it’s unfortunate that I lost the tutorial video with my old computer, but if you say you are the who screwed up and have to pay me again then let me know. I just need to know your answer so that I didn’t waist my money.
I had my first ever fashion shoot in a studio yesterday, and I was quite nervous, even tho the model was my wife. We struggled a lot with poses in the beginning as she’s not a model, and I’m not very experienced working with models (I’ve taken mostly street and landscape in the past). This is very helpful for my future shoots! Thanks Manny!
I was in your position last week. Had taken natural candids, landscapes before l, but first time tried indoor off camera shoot with my gf, and we both struggled with poses.
I'll make sure to put these to use. I'll screenshot the poses and save them on my phone, that way we both know what we want. Thanks for another great video!
Thanks Manny, I am new to models.. Tried one shoot and did ok, but just watched this for my next shoot coming up.. This will help. Love watching your videos as you explain allot. Thank you for taking the time to make them.
"my hair is getting stuck" .... "Ok well ... Keep going" 😂😂😂 I definitely use #2 a lot, I always tell the models you have 2 hands/arms and 2 legs/feet, make them do something different (especially the hands and arms). #3 I use as much as I can but it doesn't work with everyone. #4 is really good too. I need to use #5 more often I seem to forget about it, and I'll definitely try #1 from now on. Nice video again Manny!
Damn, Manny. This video came in clutch. Doing a portrait sesh soon and I know I always run out of ideas and typically don’t wanna fiddle with IG while in the middle of a shoot. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My specialty is more sports photography but I play around with some modeling shots with my girl like you do with your wife and she was asking about videos on posing how to on RUclips and definitely having her watch this quick and too the point DIY tutorial. Always great Job on the videos 👍
Believe it or not, I have my first model shoot today!! I put out a casting call on Model Mayhem and had a few responses. So my first model and I will meet this afternoon at 5 pm in front of Tokyo Station and we'll be using that area because it is great!! So, the last few days have seen me hurriedly search through RUclips for videos like this. Most, while good, were far too long and had far too many ideas. I just need something to get a very nervous guy through an hour - short, simple and easy ideas for a beginner level model photographer like me! Thanks most kindly for this killer video :)
Super helpfull Vid, man! I work with so many unprofessional models and sometimes run out of ideas while shooting. These poses help a lot to get my images on fire! Thanks and have a nice day!
Thanks for this awesome video. I'm having a photoshoot tomorrow and I often struggle when it comes to posing for 'my' models so this video is quite helpful :3.
What is the unit on the hot shoe during this shoot? I don't recognize it as a wireless controller and thought Manny used the Godox one. I think I've seen "Fro" use it as well. Does this thing do something different?
Manny first thanks for the fire content. Much appreciated. Quick question - what type of fabric is that backdrop and if you don't mind where can I find that?
0:30 L shape
1:30 One up, one down
2:26 over the shoulder
2:54 hands through hair
4:02 Dragging feet/slow mo walking

Awesome video manny! Nice poses!
Thanks Manny, I’ll be sure to use those the next time I get my friend to model!
I use the poses, when they pose at front of the camera. Or when we doing the shoot, show them the photo's, so they take poses by them own.
Your videos are so amazing and straight to the point! Could you show poses for male models? I want to try some selfportraits
Thanks bro for the poses!
