    Thanks a ton. I totally forgot about front squats, and was depending on my sister to help me do over-head press before dropping the weights. Now I can do squats on my own.🤝
    Edit. I have only 50kg in weights, so am doing 30 reps, 6-10 sets for squats.

    Thanks for the video. I still would put a Dont try this at home disclaimer. Squat is a movement for heavy weights. No matter how strong you are, there are moments things are going to slip out of control. if you dont have space for a full squat rack try to find two separate squat rack legs. they are way easier to place somewhere in your house than a full squat rack. i found two for a total of 150 euros even in Albania. So, squat safe!

      The squat rack is the best and safest way to squat heavy, hands down. However, this video was made during and for the COVID lockouts, when one could not easily procure gym equipment.

    I workout at home now so its unfortunate I don't have a squat rack but to work around it I just power clean, over head press and bring it down to do regular back squat the only problem is i can't go heavy like 225+ or something like that :/

      The methods described in the video were meant to showcase alternatives during the lockdown and are not ideal for heavy back squats.
      You can get a set of relatively inexpensive squat stands, which will solve your problem..

    good video . i was just choosing between a gym open on the sly , or some cheap plates and a barbell . No bench , no rack . With some cheap ones online no idea if they will remain stable.

      Thank you, glad you found it useful. If there's one thing I can recommend you, it is not to scimp on a barbell. Plates doesn't matter but a barbell is where you should spend you money on.

      That's true. Depending on where you are some, you might still be able to get a barbell and some weights. Here in Singapore, I see some businesses that are still operating and have stock. Hopefully, you can get your hands on some equipment wherever you are.

    Buy a cheap squat rack or do some sumo deadlifts instead. Some of these moves are lethal.
