Stray Kids is most known for their upbeat stuff but let me tell you, you really have to do some deep dive because they honestly NAIL emotional songs. Like *LoveStay* , I Just Like You, *Pieces, Another Day* , *Scars* , Neverending Story, Sunshine, Winter Falls, *Glow* , Grow Up, Mixtape 2 (Behind The Light), Slump, Ex, *Secret Secret* , Mixtape:Oh, Mixtape On Track... (Edit: also *You Can STAY* )And maybe many more that I haven't mentioned. (Haha I'm sorry if it's too much to take in. My favorite ones are in bold tho so yeah ^^)
i really liked someone's theory behind this m/v like the boys show their own struggles here and what they try to overcome so that's why we see what we see. it' makes sense in a way really and it really what makes it even more sadder tbh :( for example jisung often had (have?) dark thoughts and that's why we see hin chasing the light; hyunjin was known for being just a pretty face and he always tried to prove it wrong because he's not just a pretty face but amazing singer, rapper and extremely talented dancer so he always tries to prove it so he's always on a display and that's why we see him in a glass box... ah... i hope they're okay and were about to fight all of the struggles( sammy you def should react to more of their songs like that! they really make a great job at all kind of music they produce and sad/emotional/ballads.. they nail all of it! i would reccomend SLUMP! it has korean, japanese and even english versions! and LEVANTER ofc! it has MV and english version of the song as well~~
Stray Kids has a huge, diverse and really beautiful discography. I‘ve been looking into it for the past few months and I really love their slower and more emotional songs like Scars, Winter Falls, Silent Cry, Secret Secret, Mixtape Oh, Levanter, Ex and of course so many more. At first I only knew them for their banger songs of course since they‘re damn epic. But wow… Lonely St also is one of my favs right now - so beautiful. Can‘t wait for your full reaction to Oddinary!
I love this whole album and of course this song. I hope you do get into their slower music too because it’s beautiful. Slump and Levanter English version my favs.
