Reminds me of that time when we had guineapigs in class (for the goal of keeping class quiet which didn't work lol) and 2 of them battled for some pieces of cucumber and while they were distracted the third guineapig which was on the roof of the hut they were arguing in reached down and snatched the cucumber pieces.
I still remember it today because of how suprising and funny it was

@@Pudding_bunn It's up to us for observing carefully, but many times, increasing the living space solves many issues - or at least more floor time!

If you're experiencing frequent fights among your guinea pigs, it's important to understand that this can be a common issue, but there are steps you can take to help manage and resolve the conflicts. Here are some tips:
Check for Proper Space: Guinea pigs need plenty of space to avoid feeling crowded. A small cage can lead to stress and fighting. Make sure their living area is spacious enough for all your guinea pigs.
Separate Feeding Areas: Providing multiple feeding areas can prevent competition over food, which is a common cause of fights.
Introduce New Guinea Pigs Carefully: If you've recently introduced a new guinea pig, fights can occur as they establish a hierarchy. Introduce them slowly and in a neutral space.
Provide Enrichment: Boredom can lead to aggression. Ensure they have toys, tunnels, and other forms of enrichment to keep them occupied.
Monitor for Bullying: Sometimes, one guinea pig may bully others. Watch their interactions to determine if this is happening.
Health Check: Occasionally, a guinea pig may become aggressive due to illness or pain. A vet checkup can rule out health issues.
Spay/Neuter: If you have a mixed-gender group, consider spaying or neutering to reduce hormonal aggression.
Separate if Necessary: If fights continue despite your efforts, you may need to house them separately for their safety.
Remember, every guinea pig has its own personality and needs. What works for one might not work for another, so it's important to observe your pets and adjust your approach as needed.

Yes, guinea pigs can eat both turnip and daikon (also known as white radish) in moderation. These vegetables can provide your guinea pig with some health benefits, but there are a few considerations to keep in mind:
Turnip: Guinea pigs can eat both turnip greens and the root. Turnip greens are particularly nutritious, high in Vitamin C, which is crucial for guinea pigs as they cannot synthesize their own. However, they are also high in calcium, which can contribute to bladder stones in guinea pigs, so they should be fed in moderation.
Daikon: This is also safe for guinea pigs but should be given in small quantities. Daikon is lower in calcium compared to turnip greens, making it a slightly safer option for regular feeding. It's also a good source of Vitamin C.
When introducing any new food to your guinea pig's diet, it's important to do so gradually to avoid upsetting their digestive system. Also, remember that the staple of a guinea pig's diet should be hay, supplemented with a small amount of quality guinea pig pellets and fresh vegetables for variety and additional nutrients. Fresh, clean water should always be available.

Did you guys know that the guinea pig or domestic guinea pig (Cavia porcellus), also known as the cavy or domestic cavy (/ˈkeɪvi/ KAY-vee), is a species of rodent belonging to the genus Cavia in the family Caviidae. Breeders tend to use the word cavy to describe the animal, while in scientific and laboratory contexts, it is far more commonly referred to by the common name guinea pig.[1] Despite their common name, guinea pigs are not native to Guinea, nor are they closely related biologically to pigs, and the origin of the name is still unclear. They originated in the Andes of South America. Studies based on biochemistry and hybridization suggest they are domesticated animals that do not exist naturally in the wild, descendants of a closely related cavy species such as C. tschudii.[2][3] They were originally domesticated as livestock for a source of meat, and are still consumed in some parts of the world.
