id turn a blind eye to all the gripes i have with the sonic movies if only they included a crush 40 song in the final scene of movie 2. maybe im blinded by nostalgia but sonic heroes is such a good game and metal sonics story is so cool, i can only imagine how amazing itd be if metals arc got adapted into a movie
@@kilato9649 its cool that u enjoyed it but theres just smth in my brain that likes to pick apart these things. inconsistent physics n animation (especially with death egg was rlly annoying), generic uninspired (and NON SONIC) music, inconsitent vfx, weird character designs (ss eggman), too much pandering to the "kids movie" stigma. i could go on but u get my point. the movie focused way too much on appealing to everyone and there wasnt the effort in doing so that made movies such as detective pikachu so great. detective pikachu was a good movie and i felt sonic movie was so generic and overall bad with the added slap of sonic on it. i loved the character arc's of sonic tails and knuckles and some of the vfx were really cool like the death egg (altho animation was super wacky) and super sonic vfx was genuinly amazing. the best iteration of super sonic by far (despite lack of characterization and expression with the eyes shape language imo).

She's the one who got me into sonic games. I'm more of a zelda gamer. I love sonic and the music in the games.
