I used to watch his videos in 2014 when was in med-school, and today I wanted to refresh my anatomy in relation to brain blood barrier as am doing neurochemistry now, but somehow had to come back here. The best anatomy ever in my opinion
Thank you for your neuroanatomy videos! They are a great introduction into the field. You seem to have something that my course book really lacks: A desire to actually teach the subject in a way that one can follow and understand.
I read in a article about this guy and he actually got removed from his MBBS program shortly after this comment. It wasn’t specific why they removed him but it didn’t look good. I’ll try to find the article to post here.
You are just amazing, i love him without knowing who he is. Every single day, one of medical youtube pages become applications which need membership and payment except this channel ❤
thank you for making these videos-studying anatomy is hard on its own and lockdown in my country makes even harder- it is impossible to access our labs. you're saving my life
Extremely well explained...great job ....ive always wanted something like this to understand something as complex as the brain....ur 3D animation is just the thing...thanks a tonne
Ive been struggling with my CVA topic and this video was just amazing, the pacing was perfect, just enough for you to memorize and catch up but not too dragging, thanks so much!
Wow!I this video help me understand more about the circle of Willis. The script too is a brilliant update on your video. For a Physiotherapist like me this is a quick reference. Thanks!
great videos as usual thanks a lot! :) small thing to mention there is labyrinthine/internal acoustic artery which rise from basilar artery just above the anterior inferior cerebellar and abducent nerve
Another great anatomy video. I wish you would make some that are specific to dentistry. Separate videos dedicated to maxillary and mandibular anatomy would be valuable to our profession.
I've always wanted to be a neurosurgeon and watching this now I can't avoid thinking that someday I'd be face to face with the actual circle of willis of my future patient in the operating room. Gives me chills everytime.
Haha I think the organisms with other configurations of this system (i.e. Variation) that didn't work out well just died out so we're left with one that works perfectly.
if you could change the color coding when explaining the different branches of arteries it would be easier to understand. Overall great explanation thanks!
Vary Nice and Inforamtive Video. Thanks for Uploading and Please Can You Upload Anatomy Of Inguinal Canal, Hesselbachs Tringle with Mechanism of Direct and Indirect Hernia.
Because, probably a secondary branch coming off the middle cerebral artery burst, leaving without blood supply to cerebral cortex motor area that controls your leg movement. Sometimes, other areas replace the affected one and you might recover the movement of your leg.
I don’t know why but the name Circle of Willis cracked me up every time you said it. It’s such a silly sounding but awesome name for an anatomy structure. What is the origin??
To complicate one's life, the majority of people have anomalies of the Circle of Willis and related vessels. That's very important to surgeons who must decide whether to insert shunts during vascular operations.
Excellent videos Peter - I’m using them to help study for primary anaesthetic exams! Would it be possible to do one on the venous drainage of the head/neck as well?
Gotta love this guy! He is making our lives easier with his wonderfully animated and well explained tutorials! Bless his heart!
